Food good staff friendly
Access to rooms poor I was booked in a regular room but was taken down the road the rooms are not connected to the hotel I an unable to climb steep stairs without railings so returned to reception. I asked for a different room I had to pay for the suite the room was fairly used mouldy and smelled not clean at all I moved to another standard room the next day which was ok
Rooms were lovely and inviting Breakfast was delicious

The pool is very central to the main rooms and is well maintained. The rooms near it are decorated, spacious and each has a little patio. There’s also a communal kitchen available for basics. The staff is very kind. The food at the restaurant was good and had a nice variety of Balinese and western food.
A little pricey for how simple the rooms are.

We booked for 5 nights and stayed for 1.
While not all the reasons are the fault of the hotel.
We came to Amed for a peaceful rest and did not find that at Salt unfortunately.
Mainly due to the construction next door, which was very close to our adjoining wall, and the rooftop bar,also next door, playing music till 10/11 pm. Dogs barking all night and traffic noise.
The property to access Salt and property on other side are full of rubbish, as was the beach in front, which you can not really access due to the boats on it.
The rooms all lookout to the pathway to the restaurant, so no privacy at all and you need to keep curtains closed.
There was a really bad smell in the bathroom and the water pressure for the shower was nearly non existent. At one stage there was actually no water coming out of any taps.
I would like to point out that the staff are absolutely lovely and definately an asset to the hotel and the restaurant food was also nice.

La struttura è completamente diversa da come appare su Booking: le foto sono fuorvianti e la realtà è ben lontana dalle aspettative. Zero cura nei dettagli, manutenzione assente e atmosfera trascurata.
La nostra camera era addirittura dislocata rispetto al complesso principale dell’hotel e per raggiungerla dovevamo camminare in mezzo al fango, cosa davvero scomoda e poco piacevole, soprattutto la sera.
È vero che viene offerto un massaggio incluso, ma si tratta di 20 minuti (non 30 come indicato) e sinceramente non compensa minimamente tutte le mancanze della struttura.
Servizi praticamente inesistenti. Inoltre abbiamo scoperto solo dopo l’arrivo che ad Amed i Grab non arrivano: questo ci ha costretto a rimanere in hotel per la maggior parte del tempo, senza possibilità di spostarci facilmente.
L’unica cosa che ho apprezzato è stata la colazione e il fatto che un giorno ce l’abbiano anticipata perché avevamo un’escursione prenotata.
Per quanto riguarda Amed, è sicuramente nota per snorkeling e diving, ma il mio consiglio è di partire da Ubud o da altre zone dell’isola e fare un’escursione in giornata, senza necessariamente soggiornare qui.
Non tornerei assolutamente e non lo consiglierei.

Everything. Salt Resort & Spa truly exceeded my expectations. The location is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, right by the ocean, and perfectly maintained. The staff were some of the kindest and most attentive people I’ve met; they always greeted us with genuine warmth and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The room was clean, spacious, and very well prepared, with thoughtful touches that showed great attention to detail. The pool and surrounding areas were spotless and incredibly relaxing. Overall, the property has a really calm, boutique feel that makes you instantly unwind. I would absolutely stay again and highly recommend Salt to anyone visiting Amed.
