A hidden gem in the mountains! We had an unforgettable stay at this charming B&B in Ayer. It offers a cozy, intimate atmosphere and is impeccably clean—feels like 5-star service. What truly sets this place apart is the warmth and dedication of the hosts, Emily and John. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home, from thoughtful chats to planning personalized day trips around the area.

The homemade dinners and breakfasts were a real highlight—packed with local ingredients, generous portions, and full of flavor. It’s rare to find such heart and care poured into every detail. We felt incredibly well looked after, and getting to know Emily and John made the whole experience feel deeply personal and special.

Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the region. We’ll absolutely be coming back!

Extremely charging guesrhouse.

We loved the cosy, well-designed room with its charming balcony adorned with beautiful flowers and offering stunning mountain views. The spacious bathroom with natural light was a delight. We also appreciated the cosy living room downstairs, filled with fascinating travel books and games for the evenings. The location was perfect for the hikes and bike rides we enjoyed. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and Emily and John were amazing hosts, always helpful and welcoming. We highly recommend La Bergere for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Super nice host, very helpful, very good dinner in good price, room are made in good quality. Big free parking, no issues with place in July weekend. Tasty breakfast with great coffee.

La Bergère is a wonderful and cute little hotel, beautifully run by Emily and John. Rooms are super comfortable and clean to ensure recovery after a whole day of hiking, biking or running in Val d'Anniviers. The location is great to explore the valley on your own, food served is amazing, the hosts are happy to provide with hints on what to do or where to go, and the whole place is welcoming the very moment you step in. 11/10

We had an excellent stay. Super cosy chalet, well decorated and comfortable. The entire space is new. Wonderful views. Very good breakfast and tasty dinners. Free outdoor parking. Well located.

This place is amazing! The little hotel is beautiful and marvelously managed, the owners are extremely kind, cheerful and caring, rooms provide everything needed for some adventurous days in Val d'Anniviers and for relaxing afterwards. The location is great, making the best spots in the valley easily reachable with public transportation. Definitely worth it and will surely come back :)
