Transylvanian Inn

The view to the Bucegi mountains was amazing, and the Bran Castle was always visible from our balcony.

The room was clean and perfect size and the gentleman at the reception was also very professional and friendly.

As a souvenir, we received a tiny jam jar, made by them :)

Totul a fost perfect, curățenie și o gazdă extrem de primitoare, mai rar așa!!!

Oaspeți foarte amabili,micul dejun diversificat,o atmosferă foarte plăcută,curățenie excelentă,la etaj au o bibliotecă mare și o vedere fff frumoasă către peisaje!!

La posizione con vista sul castello di Bran, il cibo del ristorante per il pranzo, il cibo della colazione, il parcheggio comodo, il materasso comodissimo, la libreria con vista panoramica, la gentilezza della titolare che mi ha seguito a distanza anche se solo con messaggi, il Wi-Fi che ha un buon segnale.

The Transylvania Inn experience is Incredible!! The accommodations are extraordinary, the views of the hills and Bran castle are breath taking and Laura and the team provide 5 star VIP level service to all guests. I highly recommend visiting Romania and staying here.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit einem traumhaften Blick von der Restaurantterrasse und auch vom Balkon des Zimmers, freundlicher Empfang und tolle Kommunikation, guter Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der Umgebung, Parkplätze in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden, leckeres Essen im Restaurant

Hotel Transylvania was amazing. I had an amazing view of Dracula’s castle, my room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the water in the shower was hot and had great pressure.
The staff was extremely nice and the food at the restaurant was filling an extremely good. I will definitely be back again.

Von der Lage, über Essen ,Personal und Aussicht war alles PERFEKT.

Die Suite war einfach der Wahnsinn.

Hier kann man sich nur wohlfühlen.

L'hotel est exceptionnel. Il est très bien situé avec une vue sur le château. Les chambres sont magnifiques. Le restaurant en terrasse est top. L'accueil est de très bonne qualité et le manager parle très bien anglais. N'oubliez pas de visiter la bibliothèque en haut de l'hôtel.

I came here for the first time in Aug 2025. For a 6-day Writers' Retreat. I loved it so much that I decided to extend my stay by 4 more days. I felt that I had to finish editing my book here. I just had to. Against all logic and circumstances. It's like a magnet. And it felt so right! I simply followed my gut. The idea had popped my mind the night before check-out. At midnight. The next morning, I wasn't quite sure about it. But after I had breakfast with my group and the coffee rewired my "circuit", the decision was made. Just didn't feel like packing and going back home.
This place has a certain energy and vibration. You're either on the same wavelength or not.
Not to mention the magnifiscent view all around the Inn, facing Bran Castle in the distance. Everything is absolutely breathtaking, peaceful and calm. If you love nature, this is the place!
And if you're looking for a great place to spend a few days by yourself or with your colleagues, friends/family/lover... this is definitely the place!
Teambuilding, conference, retreat? You name it! Everything you need, just ask the staff and they'll happily assist.
The same goes for Laura, one of the owners. She switched from corporate chaos to family business in the heart of the mountains. Initially, she had come here for 3 months. Which became 6, 1 year and so on. Today, after 11 years, she's still here. By choice. Smiling, happy, kind and hospitable.
She trully cares about the tourists. Her personality and her own values are in each decoration, each painting, each flower. From the choice of the bed linen, to the towels, pillows and mattress.
Regardless of your stay length, you get the feeling you're treated like a special guest. And, no, it's not just a feeling! It's for real.
Vegetarian or meat crazy? Dessert addicted? The "papanași" are a must! Local, traditional cuisine or international? Yes, you can have it all here!
Garden lover? Camp fire fan? Yoga passionate? Large, wooden swings? Great coffee? Yes, again!
We visited the Transylvanian Plateau. Wanted to write a bit there and feel the unique energetic cluster of the location. The staff provided yoga mats.
The evenings can be chilly, even in the summer time. You get blankets.
Good music in the restaurant.
And... at the very top there's an amazing library, full of books in all genres. In English and Romanian.
You can sit comfortably in one of the wooden swings and read. I personally lost track of time there. What was supposed to be a quick tour turned into a 3h30min reading session. Funny thing: the back cover of a spell and witch book said that it should not be read after midnight. However, I took a chance. Still alive...
