The breakfast's were very nice especially the full English.
All the staff were very pleasant including the cleaning staff who asked us every day whether we needed anything done in the room.
The room was nice and quiet even being right next to a main road having some form of double glazing.
A nice touch was room service which after a long day we treated ourselves and had dinner and pudding in our room.
We will return again one day.
The shower was a little bit hard to turn off.
Nice place and staff pleasant. Good breakfast
Banging from kitchen at breakfast
Breakfast choice was very good and included choices for everyone

ontbijt heel goed
mischien het uitzicht van de kamer kijkt uit op vuile koer
Lovely breakfast
Location was good, in the centre of Deal and near good restaurants, pubs and the pier.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was good.
The room and building were very tired inside. Our room and en suite needed a complete renovation.
Lovely location with pier view but Rooms are very tired. Curtains off rail track, lots of dirt and cobwebs on windows as well as paint on the glass. Duvet not big enough for the bed and most of the bedding had small marks on. Asked for 2 extra pillows at 6pm but they never turned up and as we returned past midnight didn’t get at all. Shower absolute joke as water pressure very low. We were in room 2 and you can hear what sounds like an extractor fan keep starting up and going off. Was given key on arrival (2.15pm) but walked into the maid still in room so had to go straight out. Restaurant was good for quick evening meal and Breakfast. 1 biscuit each on tea tray. Most definitely not worth anywhere near the £150.00 we paid.
Staff friendly, polite and helpful. Hotel conveniently sited for exploring Deal seafront and town. Good breakfast options. Room clean, comfortable and quiet.
Have stayed before and will again.
The location and the general level are great. The food in the restaurant and bar are both great.
The quality and quantity of the breakfast is really terrible. It really let down the rest.
Very friendly and helpful staff
Room a little stuffy
The room wasn't too bad
The mattress could have been softer
I love coming to Deal, and staying at Dunkerleys. I hugely look forward to eating there in the evening since the dinner and bar food are very good indeed. The wine list is excellent, the fresh fish are simply cooked and delicious, and the English cheese board is always perfectly served.
However, I dread breakfast at Dunkerleys. To solve this, please could you spend an extra pound or so on a better loaf of bread, not the cheapest sliced, floppy bread. When toasted and buttered, it collapses and goes cold too quickly. Please could you bring the toast at the same time as the rest of the breakfast so it isn’t cold when breakfast arrives. Please when I ask for kippers, please don’t be mean: can I at least have the whole kipper (preferably still on the bone so I can appreciate the whole treat)? When I ask for scrambled eggs, please could they not look like yellow ball-bearings (resembling those you get at a motorway service station cafe).
The ‘continental’ part of breakfast is minimal and unimaginative. How about some yoghurt, or fruit salad and some small pastries or some small and fresh bread rolls.
Location, large room
The location is great. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We slept well.
The breakfast is really not up to much- very poor. The cheapest low quality bread, poor quality ingredients generally and really mean portions. The continental style choices are really restricted and unimaginative. A real surprise given that the restaurant at this hotel in the evenings and its bar food are very good indeed.
Very comfortable & staff efficient
