Le petit déjeuner Sri Lankais est délicieux et copieux et il est accompagné d' une belle portion de fruits. J'ai aimé la gentillesse de la famille, toujours prêt pour donner des conseils ou rendre service, la carte et les itinéraires des randonnées ainsi que le temps imparti, sans oublier leur adorable petit chien. Ça paraît loin mais il y a des escaliers juste à côté de la maison qui vous amènent à la voie ferrée, chemin utilisé pour aller au centre ville et aux randonnées. Il y a un frigo dans la chambre, ce qui n'est pas négligeable.
Le débit d'eau à la salle de bain est faible mais je pense que c'est indépendant de leur volonté.

We had such a lovely stay at this homestay in Ella. The location is truly special – surrounded by greenery with a beautiful view of the waterfalls. Sitting on the veranda in the morning, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and the sound of nature, was one of our favorite moments.
The breakfast was absolutely wonderful – fresh, delicious, and prepared with care. It was the perfect way to start the day in such a lush and calm environment.
The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, always friendly and helpful. We felt comfortable from the very beginning.
The room itself was simple but completely sufficient – clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed.
Overall, we truly felt at home here and would gladly come back again. 🌿✨
Estás frente a la cascada y la selva. Tienes un pequeño porche que pertenece a la habitación donde descansar y leer. La cama era pequeña pero cómoda. Todo estaba muy limpio. El desayuno estaba delicioso, nos sirvieron una especie de tortitas con huevo en el centro buenísimas. El personal fue muy atento.
Durante nuestra estancia llovió y teníamos alguna gotera en la habitación, pero nada alarmante.

The bathroom and the fan could be cleaner. Little bit far from the center, but still walkable ;)

It was a very cute room with an amazing view of the waterfall. We loved the balcony to take in the scenery and it was great to have breakfast served out there every morning. The hosts were exceptionally hospitable and friendly, and very kindly made us breakfast the night before, for our early morning leave for safari. The breakfast was all homemade and delicious as well, there was somthing different every morning which was appreciated!
The water pressure was not the strongest but it was still decent.

Close to famous train track. Can walk along the train tracks to reach the city but also the waterfall which can be seen from this accommodation. Staff very friendly! Good breakfast!
Be mindful of how much hot water you're using, because it's limited (common rooftop boiler). Steep and narrow ramps to reach this stay (if you're in a rented car), but no problem for experienced tuktuk drivers.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la vue de notre chambre, juste magnifique au petit déjeuner. La chambre est confortable et très propre. La rue menant à l’hébergement est difficilement accessible en voiture, les propriétaires ont un Tuktuk pour nous conduire dans le centre d’Ella. Le petit déjeuner est très bien et très copieux.
Immerso nel verde, fare colazione ogni mattina nel balconcino della Camera con una visuale stupenda con vari tipi di piante e fiori, la cascata e vari tipi di animali che venivano a trovarci, ci ha fatto vivere un'esperienza bellissima. Colazione con qualcosa di diverso ogni mattina. Posizione buona, vicino al centro raggiungibile in pochi minuti percorrendo o la ferrovia (anche questa un esperienza unica) o il sentiero vicino. Stanza ampia e comoda, personale molto gentile e disponibile.

De locatie is prachtig! En de wandeling via het spoor naar het centrum is ook erg leuk.
Wij vonden de bedden helaas niet lekker liggen. Het pocketverenmatras was doorgezakt waardoor we niet lekker konden liggen. De eigenaar was wel erg aardig en in goed overleg konden we een dagje eerder uitchecken.
