Cons:

Afstand naar het stadje is relatief ver (25 mins lopen, lastig bereikbaar met tuktuk). Voordeel daarvan is weer dat het heerlijk rustig is.

Jedem, der einen Halt in ruhiger Lage vor hat, zu empfehlen.
Pros:

Super saubere und moderne Unterkunft mit geräumigen Zimmern und Balkon.
Man hat eine Atemberaubende Aussicht ins Tal.
Der Host ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt.

Cons:

Das einzige das hier zu erwähnen ist ist der abenteuerliche Weg zur Unterkunft aber den nimmt man für den Blick gerne auf sich.

Amazing view, comfy beds and good breakfast.

Cons:

Everything was fine, although the owner could mention earlier that the payment was supposed to be in cash and not by card - it could be my or booking’s fault though so no hard feelings the stay was perfect.

Pros:

Bardzo udany pobyt, najlepszy podczas pobytu na Sri Lance. Posiadłość jest bardzo czysta, spora łazienka z ciepłą wodą. Mimo naszego zameldowania na ostatnią chwilę (ucieczka przed nietrafionym noclegiem) właściciel zadbał, aby nasz pobyt przebiegł jak najlepiej i zaproponował nam większy pokój jak przedłużyliśmy pobyt. Najlepsze śniadania jakie mieliśmy i to z jakim widokiem, wszystko jest robione świeżo przez właściciela. Mimo położenia na uboczu zdecydowanie warto!

Jedynym minusem może być problematyczny dojazd autem, ale tuktuk dojeżdża pod sam hotel.

Pros:

Fantastische plek op een top locatie. Heerlijk rustig. Er komen nieuwe foto's op de site omdat de huidige geen goed beeld geven. Ik kon wel uren buiten zitten om van het uitzicht te genieten. Het was het mooiste uitzicht van onze gehele reis door Sri Lanka.
De trein rijdt boven het huis langs, je kunt 'm zien je hoort af en toe het fluiten. Heel leuk. Vriendelijk personeel, dat een overvloedig ontbijt verzorgde en klaar stond om vragen te beantwoorden. Ook plaatsten ze de ontbijttafel steeds zo, zodat je optimale privacy had ten opzichte van andere gasten. Over het spoor is het 15 minuten lopen naar de hoofdstraat. Het is wel wat lastig te bereiken, maar je kunt met een Tuktuk worden opgehaald. Onze chauffeur werd verteld tot waar hij kon rijden, vanaf daar was het een klein stukje lopen. Heerlijke bedden en goede douche.

Cons:

Misschien wat meer variatie in het ontbijt.

Prachtige nabij Ella
Pros:

Prachtige locatie, vanuit alle kanten uitzicht op het dal. Ruime kamers, een heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt en zeer vriendelijke gastheren. De locatie ligt net buiten de drukte van Ella, maar lopend via het spoor ben je er in een kwartier. ‘s avonds met een tuktuk in 10 minuten weer boven.
Fijne, rustige plek met fijne zitjes buiten. De apen komen je bezoeken, net als de chipmunks die op het terras leven. Veel verschillende volgels te zien.

Pros:

Het hotel is beter dan de foto's op booking. Geweldig uitzicht over de valle (zie foto)i. Kort bij watervallen en little Ella's piek. Mooie badkamer met uitstekende douche. Het ligt echt op het uiteinde van de bergweg maar je wordt opgepikt door een tuktuk. Zeer goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

Pros:

This was probably the most nicest place we’ve got to stay during our trip. We did stayed in a 4 star hotel, but in terms of location, view, food and people, this has to be on the top of the list. Their food was out of the world, very nice breakfast as well.

Highly recommend W1 Ella resort

Scenic location, friendly owner, delicious breakfast and customer service

Cons:

It was difficult to get to, especially on a rainy night. It would be helpful if this is clearly informed during the reservation process and if the owner offers transportation from the Ella train station.
