Comfortable and the host was so welcoming!
Pros:

I liked how spacious and comfortable the room was. The breakfast is included in the price so it’s a very good deal!

Cons:

Some mould in the bathroom but honestly it doesn’t take away from the experience.

Würde in jedem Fall wieder kommen, auch wenn außerhalb gelegen, aber mit TukTuk kein Problem.
Pros:

Sehr herzlicher Empfang, ich bekam ein sehr großes Zimmer wg. einer Stornierung. Cooler Blick ins Tal, herrliches Morgenrot. Ich bekam ein sehr gutes Frühstück mit Spiegelei vom eigenen "glücklichen Huhn" :-)

Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal sowie ein sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.
Pros:

Zum Hotel selbst geht es eine etwas steilere Rampe sowie Treppe bergauf. Oben angekommen genießt man dafür eine spektakuläre Aussicht auf das Umland. Das Personal war absolut zuvorkommen und hat alle Wünsche erfüllt.

Der Host hat mich sogar gegen einen sehr fairen geringen Preis mit seinem Privatwagen in den Süden Sri Lankas gebracht.

Sauberkeit ließ sehr zu Wünschen übrig. Das Bad war wirklich ekelig.
Pros:

Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation verlief unkompliziert. Auch die Lage der Unterkunft war grundsätzlich in Ordnung.

Cons:

Leider war die Sauberkeit der Unterkunft ein großes Problem. Das Zimmer wirkte deutlich anders als auf den Bildern und insgesamt nicht richtig gereinigt. Besonders das Badezimmer war in einem sehr unhygienischen Zustand, was den Aufenthalt sehr unangenehm gemacht hat. Auch die Duscharmaturen waren nicht richtig befestigt und sind fast abgefallen.

Auch die Handtücher waren leider nicht sauber. Sie hatten Flecken und wirkten teilweise noch feucht, sodass man sie kaum benutzen wollte. Insgesamt hatten wir daher kein gutes Gefühl, was die Hygiene in der Unterkunft betrifft.

Prachtig uitzicht over de vallei en grote kamers met comfortabele bedden

Cons:

Niet altijd warm water, dit moest je vragen aan de eigenaren. Kamers waren niet heel schoon, veel mieren. Meerdere dagen exact hetzelfde ontbijt. Uiteindelijk vraagt eigenaar om reviews met alleen maar 10’en, wat wij raar vonden.

Pros:

Nuestra estancia fue genial. La dueña del lugar, Indica, fue muy amable con nosotros, una mujer entrañable y muy alegre. Nos lavó la ropa y se preocupó en todo momento de que estuviéramos bien. Súper recomendable, nosotros volveremos sin duda!

All in all Sweete Menschen aber leider nicht gut zum schlafen.
Pros:

Die Lage war schön man hatte eine tolle Aussicht. Die Gastgeber waren super lieb und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Leider war in dem Zimmer ein Starker schimmelgeruch welches uns das Atmen schwer gemacht hat.

Accommodation is a bit older, especially the bathroom, and sometimes the hot water wasn’t really hot. However, everything was clean.

What I would really like to highlight is the approach of the owners — they were amazing: kind, helpful, always willing to give advice, arrange things, or even drive us to the train station, for example.

The place has an absolutely stunning view. The only potential downside for some might be that it’s located a bit outside the center. Although it’s “only” about a 30-minute walk, the route goes along a road, so it’s not the most pleasant walk.

La proprietaria è davvero gentile e disponibile. La colazione è fantastica e anche la vista!! Posto bellissimo e curato.

Cons:

Peccato per le stanze con vetrate che affaccino dove passano tutti quindi devi stare sempre con le tende tirate.

La familia es super amable, muy atenta y siempre intentando ayudar y recomendando cosas :), el desayuno esta rico, buen arroz con currry!!
El sitio tiene unas vistas increibles, y esta a unos 5’ de el centro de ella en tuktuk, pero tambien se puede coger un bus que pasa por delante con bastante frequencia por 30 rupias, esta bien conectado y cerca hay varias cascadas para ver!

Cons:

Hay mucha humedad en la habitacion y el agua caliente no funcionaba

Pros:

The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming, always happy to help with anything we needed. The view from the terrace is absolutely beautiful – a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The location is not right in the city center, which we didn’t mind at all, as we enjoy walking and being close to nature. It’s a great spot for nature lovers. The facilities are rather basic, but for us they were more than sufficient. It’s a cozy, family-run place with a warm and intimate atmosphere.
