Very nice setting.
Pros:

Comfortable beds. Bathroom was a bit small. But everything was very clean. Breakfast was very good.

Hyggelig kar ( snakket Engelsk ) som etter at vi hadde vært på Soloppgang konsert hadde super god kaffe klar kl 0645 & informerte om at kl 07! Var frokosten klar . Delikat & fin presentert .
God kjøttmiddag , mør ( kalv ) , selv om ønsket oss Fisk 😁

Cons:

Dårlig / manglende info vedrørende endringer i Dagens middagsmeny ( på forhånd pr mail el ) . Kun ett valg 3 retter & bare kjøtt som hovedrett .
Hadde gledet oss til Fisk ..
Frokost , ble informert om at det var fra kl 08 ( inkl på info i resepsjonen) .
Litt fraværende & « flat « servitør , tross kun 3 par i restauranten.

Wonderful place to stay if you’re looking for quiet. Great walking paths! Also delicious dinner and breakfast.

Cons:

Liked everything however we couldn’t adjust the ac. Asked the cleaning staff that was unable to help. Slept with window open which was nice, but really needed a few degrees cooler.

Misleading listing – not the romantic stay we expected

The location is beautiful, the surroundings are peaceful, the breakfast was good, and the staff were polite. The main yellow historic building is very attractive and creates a wonderful first impression.

Cons:

I feel that the Booking.com listing is misleading. Almost all the photos show the beautiful yellow main building, making guests believe they will stay there. However, our room was actually located in a separate old barn building, and this was not clearly stated in the listing. My husband and I booked this hotel for a romantic night, but instead we ended up staying in a building that smelled unpleasant, which completely ruined the experience. If I had known in advance that the rooms were not in the main building, I would have booked another hotel. I have been using Booking.com for many years and this is the first time I have felt so disappointed. Please make it very clear in the hotel description where guests will actually be accommodated so that future guests are not misled.
