You get what you pay for. I arrived late. I just wanted somewhere to lie down that wasn’t a park bench.

It was cheap. It had a late bar.

Cons:

Very old & dated to the point of being depressing. Needs a major facelift. The bar seemed to attract all sorts. This is the place you book when intrusive thoughts become too much to overcome.

Disgusting filth ,cobwebs ,doors filthy .headboard filthy with dust etc ,hairs on bed covers ,bed chewed n ripped ,armchairs filthy,stained and marked n legs scratched ,tv not working ,windows filthy and condensation ?couldn’t even see out them. Kettle inside filthy ,coffee tasted like grease ,toilet filthy furniture outdated in room and hotel ,breakfast cold n rubber like ,coffee n tea not warm ,and staff front of desk n bar just not caring ,was told the room only had four stairs at too. Which was ten ,so 26 in all ,my partner is seriously disabled 😡

Lovely staff, hotel a little tired.

The view from the window was good. The property was old and had a nice atmosphere

Cons:

It was a little run down. The curtains on the window of our room looked old and shabby, the bathroom was tiny and shabby. The carpet in the room looked like it could do with renewing.
