Sad stay when looking on all neglection
Pros:

Location and staff freindliness

Cons:

1) rooms!! The hotel and rooms are so poor condition and neglected...the hotel has big opportunieties but completely neglected.
2) poor choice for breakfast, no fruits

The location is perfect, central Oban and amazing sea views. The staff were friendly, the room was warm, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Dog friendly, and welcoming of them being in the hotel.

Cons:

The shower was unpredictable, too hot, too cold and low pressure but manageable.

One woman and her dog .
Pros:

Dog friendly everything you needed in the room
Close to everything beautiful view .parking .friendly staff .lovely breakfast and my dog even got a sausage .

Cons:

Mold on ceiling corner.just needs a little cash injection everything is dated proberly 70s decor but works ..no one to say good bye to thank you when checked out .just leave the key knitted pot .

Pros:

The hotel was good value for money. I had a beautiful view of Kerrera from my bedroom window. I had everything I needed. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Cons:

There was nothing I didn't like. I would gladly stay there again.

Pros:

Ive stayed at the Lancaster hotel for years ,it has never changed which I like. it is quirky and old but clean and very good value and very dog friendly.the staff have always been brilliant
It is basic and no thrills but has everything you need, location is great.
I wouldn't stay anywhere els in oban.
They have never charged for dogs which is a bonus as every where is up to £10 per night per dog.

Cons:

There is nothing I don't like at the hotel.

Pros:

An absolute disgrace, filthy, smelly, run down old fashioned excuse for a hotel

Cons:

There’s absolutely nothing to like about this place I paid £190 for two nights, I would stay in a tent rather ever having to go back to this dump. I have also contacted booking.com and you haven’t even had the decency to answer me. I only wish I had taken pictures of this place.

Pros:

Having read some awfully unfair reviews,I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of my little ensuite room.On a low budget ,it was basic but a wee warm haven of personal space and comfort.My breakfast was delicious- eaten with a sea view.The staff were so so friendly and welcoming, it felt very homely.

Cons:

I cant usually afford to stay in hotels,so I liked everything! It was very much value for money ..but so homely and safe for a lone traveller.
