Disgusting 😡
Pros:

An absolute disgrace, filthy, smelly, run down old fashioned excuse for a hotel

Cons:

There’s absolutely nothing to like about this place I paid £190 for two nights, I would stay in a tent rather ever having to go back to this dump. I have also contacted booking.com and you haven’t even had the decency to answer me. I only wish I had taken pictures of this place.

Pros:

Having read some awfully unfair reviews,I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of my little ensuite room.On a low budget ,it was basic but a wee warm haven of personal space and comfort.My breakfast was delicious- eaten with a sea view.The staff were so so friendly and welcoming, it felt very homely.

Cons:

I cant usually afford to stay in hotels,so I liked everything! It was very much value for money ..but so homely and safe for a lone traveller.

Pros:

Good location, good views.
Appreciated wear jacket being dried in the drying room

Cons:

Very uncomfortable bunk beds - the spring where through any padding.
Two ladies had two dogs that were overbearing for the size of the lounge/reception.

Pros:

The beds were OK.

Cons:

We only stayed one night but that was enough. The room smelt like perfume to mask smoke smell. The carpets felt dirty and it was very dusty and small.

Great location
Later shift staff was helpful

Cons:

Hotel rooms need serious updating, including and especially bathroom and bed mattresses
Downstairs is also very dated and not clean
Lots of stairs and unnecessary doors, not accessible for 50+
Staff did not greet or acknowledge us on arrival, is standoffish
Nightly price is high even w great location, plenty of other and better choices
