Great location, very comfortable and first rate staff.

Property is immaculate which is fabulous given the age of the building. David and staff were equally immaculate and couldn’t have made any more effort to make us feel welcome and at home.

As with our review for our stay on the 7th April, everything was outstanding. great staff, lovely place, perfect location :)

The Manor House Oban offers a cosy, historic and authentic atmosphere
The decor in the dining room, bar and lounge area is stunning and very traditional.
Our bedroom (8) was just as beautifully presented, comfortable and spotlessly clean throughout.
A hearty Scottish breakfast was served along with other less traditional, but just as tasty alternatives.
Staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
Stunningly situated, overlooking Oban bay, the views were spectacular.
I would love to return one day and can highly recommend The Manor House Oban

We stayed at Manor House for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. From the moment we arrived until we left, every member of staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive.
The house is not only beautiful from the outside, but also decorated inside with so much care and attention to detail. We’ve rarely seen such a lovely B&B. The lounge area with the fireplace is especially worth mentioning — definitely enjoy a drink there in the evening. David in particular can recommend the perfect drink and clearly has a lot of expertise!
Our room (number 5) had a stunning view over the bay. It was spotless, and for women with long hair: the shower had excellent water pressure, which is always a bonus!
The location is also great — very close to the town centre and the port, both only about a 5–10 minute walk away.
We would absolutely stay here again anytime!

My wife and I have just returned from three days in the Manor House Hotel. We took advantage of a March promotion. What a welcoming place. Lorna, David, Stephen and Claudia at breakfast couldn’t do enough for us. Our room was elegantly decorated with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom, with walk-in shower, was immaculate. We never actually met the housekeeping staff but they keep the accommodation spotless.
David is very knowledgeable about his wines and spirits and after returning from dinner in the town we enjoyed a bottle of wine with a seat in the lounge by the roaring log fire. On our final night we enjoyed a beautiful plate of Scottish cheeses and charcuterie in the bar.
The hotel has excellent views out over Oban bay and is just a short walk up the hill from the railway station and ferry port.
We couldn’t fault the hotel and are happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a short break in Oban.

The staff, bar and breakfast were all great. And the position looking over the harbour is great.

The house was very pretty, well cared for, and there were lots of little additions I appreciated like the biscuits in the room, the soaps, selection of teas, and smart TV. I couldnt stay for the breakfast but the facilities looked very good.
