All good and exactly as advertised. Perfect location with a superb view.
A very typical British-style accommodation - comfortable and full of character. Perhaps adding a little Scottish touch would make it even better. 😉
There was no heating at all, which is not ideal even in the Scottish summer. Also, having much more space in the bathroom would make the stay considerably more comfortable.
Great location, free parking, only 5 min walk to ferry and further 5 to town centre. We had room 4 which is a good size, extra large bed and lovely bathroom. Excellent breakfast menu from fruit to full cooked Scottish breakfast. Staff are lovely, very helpful and knowledgeable for touristy bits. They have great outdoor area at the back where you can sit and steps down to near the sea. Tea and coffee can be made in the room and bottled water included daily. Will definitely book again.
Soap to use in bath but I forgot to ask at reception and I’m sure it would have been provided no bother.

Carpete em todo o hotel não ajuda quem tem alergia de poeira, e este hotel por ser histórico, apresenta poeira também histórica.
A period property originally belonging to a titled landowner, overlooking the sea. The property has been modernised but retains the charm of x as bygone era. Breakfast was a bounty-absolutely first class. Supper was likewise very good. The staff were relaxed, informal and professional. Loved it.

A wonderful warm welcome and stay from start to finish. The staff are lovely and helpful, with dinner recommendations in the local area and even booked for us. The room was perfect, comfortable and had everything we needed.
The bar was well stocked and knowledgeable bar staff. Breakfast was faultless and certainly set us up for the day. Can't wait to stay again.

Breakfasts were delicious with lots of options. The views over the harbor were stunning and the history of the property was amazing.
I would've preferred a little larger room with water views - but I waited too long to book so was just happy to get the small but sweet and vey comfortable room we stayed in!
