NOTHING TRANQVILLE RESORT IS THE WORST
REALLY BAD experience at tranqville resorts ooty
Honestly, i wouldn't recommend Tranquilla resort to anyone visiting ooty. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and even the owners didn't bother to sort out any of our problem we weren't allowed to us the restroom before the check in time like 10 minutes before chckin the place looks nice online but in reality its a complete fraud and completely different from online its a new gen catfishing scam happeing in resort in ooty which is called tranquilla resort ooty
The location, staff and food was excellent. The view from the room and landscape is unimaginable

The staff was decent but our room had a spider infestation. Not the small spiders that you don't care about. Big ugly ones. Plus, a pigeon got into our washroom and shat everywhere. Very unhygenic. I have travelled a lot in Garhwal/Uttarakhand and Western Ghats and a bit of wildlife is expected but this is not acceptable. The area was calm and peaceful but the room ruined my stay. Another thing that i noticed was that some guests got a bonfire for free while we didn't. Which is okay but I did expect better based on what I paid.

Room was booked with a credit card but when checking in they accepted cash only. I argued unsuccessfully but was told the manager would be there in the evening. He didn’t show either of the two days I was there.
Room is very plain and not particularly clean. Big plastic jugs were left on the side of the cabin and not picked up. Room walls are water damaged and not very clean.
Wi-Fi was spotty. There was hot water for a shower. I did not try the tv. Garden/lawn area is attractive enough and the views of the surrounding area are good.
Breakfast buffet was ok, not great but satisfactory. The other meal, a La carte, were better and quite tasty.

This place is amazing!! The views are incredible I seriously could not look away. The staff was so accommodating, the food was tasty, the room was comfy and cute. Highly recommend booking this place if you’re looking for a relaxing serene peaceful getaway with gorgeous views.

Location is good.
No cattle or mini fridge in room. Small rooms with so called moutain view
No privacy. They will cut wood for campfire just outside room irrespective of if customer is resting in their room

You can't keep windows open for the views since someone is always passing by
They call it resorr but it's a lodge and they shouldn't charge more than 2k 500 for room and 1500 for view that too if they solve their hospitality.

- You cannot shuttle between hotel and other places during the day due to location.
- Needs to include many activities (TT table / chess / bonfire / fussball etc.) to keep the guests entertained in the evening as there's no place to go out on a stroll.
