Pros:

Very nice Wellness space with a hot sauna, a medium hot sauna, hammam and pool. Really nice when hiking or biking during the day. The restaurant staff (dinner time) was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

They asked for 2,5 euros to fill my water bottle with hot water, I find this absurd.

Pros:

Das Abendessen in der Halbpension ist einfach phänomenal. Auf Wünsche wird individuell eingegangen. Selten so gut gespeist.
Ansonsten selten so einen großzügigen Wellnessbereich in einem Hotel gesehen. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Leider konnte ich bei der Hitze (38Grad) nicht noch die Sauna ausprobieren. Es war einfach schon so viel zu warm.

Hotel mit angenehmen Aufenthaltsbereichen
Pros:

Die Sauna-Landschaft und der Indoor-Pool haben uns besonders gefallen. Im Restaurant und beim Frühstück war alles sehr lecker.

Cons:

Das Hotel gibt es schon einige Zeit, insofern sind die Zimmer nicht hypermodern. Unser Bad war recht eng.

Unusually for a German hotel (with over 50 years' experience), this was disappointing.
Pros:

Comfortable room, breakfast

Cons:

1. Communication: Upon booking, and the hotel taking 80% of the cost almost immediately, I emailed the hotel asking for a quiet room and asking the hotel to reserve a parking space (on Google street view, I saw that parking spaces were few). The hotel did NOT reply.
2. Parking: Upon arrival in the early evening but after dark, there were no parking spaces within the hotel's grounds and half the vehicles there had local number plates, but I was able to park in front of a garaged tractor; however, the staff felt this would displease the owner.
3. Reception: With the reception closed, we went to the restaurant to check-in and were told we couldn't have dinner for over an hour since there no available tables, but plenty of locals playing cards at these tables. The hotel had been made aware by email that our journey that day to the hotel was over a 1000 km and we would be tired.
4. Restaurant: Unusually for a German hotel, dinner was unremarkable. There was nothing wrong with the food, but the experience didn't 'sparkle' and the residual taste (excluding the salad) was one of 'catering packs' rather than freshness. The bill had to be amended because items had been added which we didn't order.

Fijne sauna.

Cons:

We moesten tweede avond opschieten met bestellen in restaurant, maar we hadden gezegd dat we rustig aan zouden gaan doen.
Dat viel niet in goede aarde.
Eerste avond was het wel heel fijn. Toen wel goede bediening van ietsje oudere dame.
