It was very comfortable and the location was perfect for us. The staff were very helpful

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice location, very nice pub just down the road.

Cons:

Even after informing the hotel my wife was gluten intolerant at time of booking, and on arrival, there was no gluten free cereal on both mornings. Small portion full English breakfast, only one sausage and slice of bacon
Public areas could do with redecorating, walls marked and stair carpet worn on edges.
Limited bar, no draught beers.

Amazing hotel and staff in a lovely location
Pros:

The rooms are all very spacious and were excellent in accommodating a child. Breakfast was amazing with a huge choice. We would especially like to thank "Eddie", she went over and above to help us. Thank you all for a lovely stay and we will definitely stay again

Ideal case for discovering the New Forest
Pros:

Good location, central to the New Forest, hotel is in quiet surroundings and rooms were peaceful. Breakfast was superb and staff were attentive and sorted out minor issues speedily.

Cons:

Shower in bath was not screened so water could splash on the floor.

Lovely manor on the edge of New Forest
Pros:

We had a highly enjoyable stay at the Manor at Sway. The interiors are beautifully decorated and filled with antique furniture, and there is plenty of space inside to hang out when it rains (which it did...). The manager is always around and making sure guest have a great stay. The food at the restaurant can't be faulted and the location is great providing easy access to New Forest. Highly recommended.

A lovely getaway for us and our furry boy — full of beautiful memories, warm hospitality, and a stay

We absolutely loved our 3 days and 2 nights at The Manor at Sway! 🐾❤️

This trip was planned especially to celebrate our dog’s birthday and give him his very first forest and national park experience, since we live in the city and he had never experienced one before. Little did we know, it would turn out to be one of the best trips we’ve had with our furry boy so far! 🐶🌿

The Manor at Sway was the perfect place for it. They have a beautiful, spacious garden where we could take our dog for walks, let him play, and even have a little birthday photoshoot. 🎂🐾 The hotel is also just a couple of minutes walk from the station, which made travelling there incredibly easy.

Our room was elegant, comfortable, and wonderfully spacious — especially important when travelling with a dog. We also really appreciated how welcoming they were towards our furry companion. They were happy to accommodate him in the lounge while we had dinner, which made the whole experience so much more relaxed and enjoyable.

And the breakfast deserves a special mention — everything was fresh, delicious, and served with excellent service. ☕🥐

Overall, The Manor at Sway is such a lovely place, and we’re already planning to visit again soon. A truly memorable stay for us and, most importantly, a very happy birthday boy! 🐶

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful and dog-friendly getaway! 🌳🐾

Perfect base for the New Forest in a beautiful Edwardian Manor.
Pros:

The Manor is in a lovely village location on the Forest - with plenty of parking.
We had an excellent breakfast - served by a very helpful Polish lady.

Perfect stay in a beautiful setting, very welcoming for dogs!
Pros:

Everything was absolutely perfect! Beautiful hotel, lovely quiet atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The room was clean and very comfortable. It was a wonderful stay overall, and we were so glad to be able to bring our two tiny dogs along with us.

Cons:

The only slight query we had was regarding the pet fee, charging the full standard rate per dog felt a bit steep for two tiny dogs who take up less room combined than one very medium dog staying at the hotel. However, this didn't take away from an otherwise fantastic stay!
