Was simple but good care of the building and rooms
I liked everything
The Hotel was great value with a comfortable room and a fantastic breakfast offering.
The signage needs to improve. I drove past twice looking for the Hotel.
Nice building and its gardens etc
Decor and gardens etc
Quaint and quiet
I liked the welcome we received on arrival, and the feeling that nothing was too much trouble. We requested a pot of tea, and we're offered warm scones with jam and cream as well.
The main rooms of the hotel were beautifully decorated, and the bedrooms were well equipped and the beds very comfortable.
We were very happy with everything.
Great setting , comfortable and good breakfast
The staff where very nice and friendly, it was nice and clean
The hotel was a "home from home" while moving house. The hotel was a real haven from all the mess of moving house, and I asked for a bath in both our rooms and got it, and that was bliss.
The food at dinner was ok but not great. It might be better in the summer months when they have more guests eating in, and when upgrading the running of the kitchen is more cost effective. The pub down the road is very busy so the costumers are there, its just a matter of capturing the market.
Brrakfast was good, the bed comfortable and the shower strong. What more could you want?!
Traditional
Building but with modern features.
Nothing
Beautifully decorated and let rooms, bathroom was well kept and clean
Nothing
Location and nice welcome when we arrived
Room was freezing and damp - restaurant lacked atmosphere- no music - staff no where to be seen and waited ages to be served dinner and breakfast th next day (ate out on second night)
