très très mitigé. Repas top. reste flop.
Pros:

le repas du soir et le petit déj. Le château, son emplacement face au lac, personnel aimable mais pas très expérimenté.

Cons:

Ah, la Seestrasse fermée… une expérience inoubliable !

Accéder au château ? Mission impossible, sauf si vous aimez les amendes, la police et les sensations fortes. On se croirait dans un épisode de Mission: Impossible, mais sans Tom Cruise pour vous sauver.

Le lendemain, c’est encore mieux : le château devient officiellement inaccessible en voiture privée. Du coup, parking à l’école hôtelière, à environ 1,2 km… petite balade sympa sur le papier. En réalité ? Avec un bébé, trois sacs (ou plutôt des valises déguisées), un bouquet de fleurs (anniversaire de ma femme oblige)… un véritable trek alpin.

Et le personnel ? Surprise ! Personne n’était au courant que le château était inaccessible (oui oui, vraiment). Aucune aide proposée, aucun “on peut vous donner un coup de main ?”… rien. Le sens du service était visiblement en vacances.

Cerise sur le gâteau : la facture de CHF 345.- pour la chambre… déjà payée via Booking.com le 24 avril. Même avec preuve à l’appui, on vous regarde comme si vous veniez d’inventer le concept du paiement en ligne… “normalement Booking ne peut pas débiter…” — ah bon ? Première nouvelle !

Et pour finir en beauté : deux bouteilles d’eau offertes pour la route. Très gentil… surtout quand on doit déjà porter un bébé, trois sacs, un bouquet… et marcher 1,2 km. Franchement, il ne manquait plus qu’un piano à queue.

Conclusion : NUL. NUL. NUL. NUL. NUL. Mais au moins, ça fait une bonne histoire à raconter

Pros:

Mir hat die Aussicht auf den See besonders gut gefallen. Die Lage war gut und dann war auch schnell in Thun.

Was für eine fantastische Atmosphäre. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
Pros:

Das Abendessen war sehr gut, und auch das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Hervorragende Gastronomie und exzellenter Service.

Cons:

Alles war wunderbar, aber es fehlte eine Badewanne in unserem Zimmer, damit es noch romantischer gewesen wäre.

Highly recommend special place to stay in Thun
Pros:

Great historic building, amazing views of the lake, great restaurant and breakfast, staff very helpful

Cons:

15min walk to Thun station but a bus outside the hotel so wasn’t an issue just so everyone is aware
