Excellent food for our evening meal and comfy quiet overnight stay. Lovely breakfast. Staff always friendly and helpful.
Lovely accommodation. Friendly staff. Great food.
Amazing food . We really enjoyed the small plates at dinner and also the delicious breakfast
Our 2nd stay at Tickled Trout was again excellent. Friendly staff, excellent food, lovely room and a very spoilt dog who got 2 sausages for his breakfast. We will be returning.
Everything was excellent, not the staffs fault but the table next to us for dinner where very loud with their conversations, which made mine and husbands conversations a little quiet.
Lovely quirky building.
Roaring fires
Fantastic food and v comfortable bedroom
De gezellige sfeer en fijne ontvangst. Onze hond werd met open armen ontvangen
Grote mensen lopen vaak gebukt🤣
The food is amazing, we had two evening meals and two breakfast all were very tasty and really well presented. I know that might sound strange but there is something really nice about a table being well presented and the food looking as good as it tasted.
Our room could do with an update, the shower is looking tired but do not understand it was clean.
The bar & restaurant are welcoming with an open fire. We received good service and the food was excellent. The room we stayed in (Skell) was well appointed, but…!
The room has an overhead emergency safety light with a very bright green lamp that is permanently on; that made it almost impossible to sleep. The check out staff was dismissive, stating “this is only the second time in six years this has been mentioned” yet there are several reports of this problem in the Booking’s reviews over the last 2 years alone. A alternative product and/or unobtrusive green lamp should be used. Would not stay here again because of this issue.
Loved the decor of the room and the feel of the restaurant area
Limited vegetarian main dishes and cooked breakfast options available without having to request variations. Not vegetarian but would have liked a different option to meat or fish. Bed mattress was too soft which meant disturbed night due to trying not to roll off the edge. Very steep stairs to take heavy cases up
Very welcoming on arrival
Well appointed and comfortable with nice extras such as fresh milk and port in the room. Excellent staff and service.
