Stayed as near to the York Parkrun at the race course - the walk into town was about 30 mins, hotel on a bus route too. Super comfy bed, lovely room and plenty to eat at breakfast. Bar & restaurant here too if wanted. Stay very much enjoyed
Every single member of staff were so polite and helpful the room was clean the beds were so comfy. The bar and restaurant area was really nice...id definitely stay again!
Great location with easy onsite parking, clean rooms and nice breakfast. The hotel is also dog friendly. Excellent value for money.

Not a complaint and I expect to be green, there are no bin liners in the bedroom bins - I decided to put the used tea bags in one of the mugs so as not to cause mess!

Peaceful location away from the main road. Near to the Knavesmire. Lovely greenery and walks. Dog friendly. Near a good bus route. Plenty of parking. Early check in available.
Bathroom extremely small, (door could be made a sliding to make more of space) any bigger than a UK size 16 you wouldn't have got in!. Also "something rude" drawn on bathroom mirror! (Obviously not cleaned!) Dust in some areas, tops of bed and television etc. On returning to our room after window being open all day, strong smell of "cats". Following day, on returning to room after breakfast, door key had been dis-abled so I couldn't get back into the room, had to get a member of room staff to let me in. It was only 10.30am so we were still within our time. On leaving, we told the Receptionist who simply said they sometimes do that. No apology.

Bed, bedding, pillows hard and crispy, room was filthy. Crisps under the bed and mold around the bath and sink. Kettle was rusty inside
Very stylish and clean through out. Staff really friendly and helpful. Rooms are fully equipped with hair dryer irons and kettles
