Great setting lovely room
No one on duty when got back in the evening
Stayed for one night at the P&P on our way to Northumberland. Located in the beautiful village of Husthwaite, the accommodation is very comfortable. Staff are lovely and food is excellent.
Nothing to dislike
Beautiful cosy room, friendly and accommodating staff. Delicious cocktails and breakfast. Tranquil location.
Breakfast had a great selection available and was delicious.
Lovely hotel
Rather expensive
Food was outstanding, staff excellent and really hospitable
Although beautiful village, bar was quiet, shut at 8 on Sunday
All good
There appeared to be lots of flies which were exceedingly annoying
Lovely room and bar areas.quiet location. Food was really good. Friendly staff. Room was refreshed daily. Lovely toiletries and tea and coffee facilities. Popular bar eating areas.
Some issues with flies in both the room and the eating areas which was a shame.
Apparently we were placed in a an accessible room, which had a wet room and rainfall shower but no normal shower hose and head unfortunately.
Location, restaurant. Although we didn’t eat an evening meal my sister and family did and really enjoyed it. Breakfast was very good.
Beds were firm and rooms quite small and quiet basic . Light came through the curtains early so we woke. Smell of the restaurant was in room corridors and there was a fly problem in whole hotel and bedrooms when we stayed. Staff were very apologetic.
The friendly atmosphere and attentive staff
Lovely building in a lovely setting
Sadly the food wasn’t great. Breakfast was good, although the roasted tomato wasn’t roasted at all.
Had a meal the night we arrived and sadly it wasn’t great
Superb stay
La nourriture
The property was clean and well maintained with excellent food and very friendly staff
Nothing
The room was a good size with an extremely comfortable large bed and nicely furnished. The accompanying bathroom was large and clean. The food was very good and they have obviously got an excellent cook
Very poor staff attendance when we had our evening meal. There were bits of food on the floor from previous diners. The eating area resembled a canteen more than a restaurant and the only thing that was missing was a bottle of tomato ketchup on each table
Beautiful inside and out
Nothing
Clean, recently decorated comfortable lovely pub/hotel
Nothing not to like
