It was in a beautiful location. Very peaceful and quiet. Lovely little village. The property was well maintained and furnished. It was very comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay
There was nothing we didn’t like about the property
The Plum and Partridge is beautifully decorated, situated in a very peaceful village. The staff are very welcoming and the breakfast beautifully presented. We also had an evening meal which was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
There was nothing to dislike!
Location
Had to use the public toilet as the en suite didn’t work
Everything was great , the rooms were nicely decorated and the room was clean and comfortable
We had to leave early on Saturday morning , we just found that Breakfast started a bit too late in general so we never got our breakfast .
Charming property, beautifully styled and immaculately clean. Great hospitality and a fabulous breakfast. Highly recommended.
Everything
Personal preference I would have liked a bigger bed and firmer mattress
Great location. Lovely room and fabulous food.
The shower didn’t work so I was unable to have a shower when I got back from a run. The room had so many air fresheners in it that it was overpowering. We had to open the window for a while to make it bearable.
Everything the staff were excellent
Ali did us proud an amazing breakfast and he was so professional an incredible member of the plum and partridge staff.
Nothing
the breakfast was amazing . high quality produce with a varied menu. Staff were excellent . spotless rooms with comfort and style.
the shower dial was faulty you had to force it to get cold water , was quite dangerous .
when we spoke to the manageress she said she was aware and how to fix it . if the manager was aware a sign would have been handy .
The location is in a quiet village, and it was so peaceful to sit out at the front. The weather was fantastic too. The Pub /hotel staff were excellent, attentive and prompt with service. The room was excellent, Spotlessly clean well placed and all the amenities you need. The toiletries were quality, and quality ran through this place, from staff to furnishings etc. The food was outstanding too. will definitely be visiting again.
Nothing
The location was lovely and peaceful and the food was exceptional.
A beautiful property, in a lovely area.
Absolutely nothing.
It’s a beautiful pub with lovely bedrooms, a woodburner nestled in Husthwaite
Nothing because I loved everything
We had a great one night stay in this lovely cosy country pub. Everything was clean and well presented to a high standard. The staff were really friendly and very accommodating. We had an evening meal which was excellent, including the crab and prawn linguine and a delicious steak sandwich. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service. The breakfast was exceptional, we both had a full English (best black pudding ever!) but there were plenty of other options available both hot and cold. Thank you to Louise for making our stay nice and for the lad who served us breakfast we had such a good stay. The parking was also good, plenty of spaces to the rear of the pub. Would highly recommend!
Although this may be the norm now, we felt the drink prices were a bit high.
Pleasant village location not far from A19.
Helpful staff. Comfortable warm well equipped bedroom.
Adequate menu, but a little on the pricey side for a pub with rooms.
Cooked breakfast was excellent
But recommend rachack off toast and marmalade
