Cons:

AC was dripping water Had to wakeup in midnight to manage the leakage . Ceiling fan is not functional After 10AM not even bread and jam is available in the restaurant

Pros:

Good little halfway stop between Thekkady and Varkala
Town offered nice juice bars and fresh fruit
Friendly locals and felt safe
The hotel has a modern bar/nightclub on top floor
Restaurant food was delicious and great value
Very clean and modern hotel room that you'd expect from a western chain group
Hot shower!
