Great value for a very comfortable Hotel with loads of charm, excellent food and staff.
Pros:

The Hotel is a functioning pub as well with loads of character & charm. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant food excellent. The location is great if you have a reason to be in the area. Room were large and comfortable & clean.

Cons:

It rained heavily overnight and the roof leaked. Only drips, no flood & not over the bed luckily. Leak stopped when the rain did.

Pretty and quaint. Would stay again.
Pros:

Very pretty spot. Convenient to both Groningen and Appingedam. Train station nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very nice outdoor cafe and restaurant.

Cons:

WiFi not very strong, kept disconnecting.

Eten goed! Hotel voldeed niet 😢
Pros:

Het had een authentieke uitstraling en je kon er ook eten.Het ontbijt was goed. Wel afgemeten. We hadden nog net ieder 1 eitje.

Cons:

Het is heel gehorig. Wij hadden kamer 1 en die lag tegen de trap aan naar beneden. En daar moesten alle mensen langs van de andere 15 kamers. Daar hebben ze ook een houten vloer. Dus je snapt dat we alles hebben gehoord. Ook viel de kamer een beetje tegen. De stuc in de douche kwam van het plafond. Er ligt een langharig kleed bij het bed.Het onderlaken zag eruit als van een ziekenhuis met de blauwe streep! En vanmorgen begonnen ze om 07.45 uur te stofzuigen! Beetje oude bedoening eerlijk gezegd. Zo zag het er niet uit op de foto's!
