Gutes Hotel mit Pool
Pros:

Saubere Zimmer mit Bad in gutem Zustand. Dazu ein sehr schöner und sauberer Pool. Frühstück bereits ab 5 Uhr, um auch vor Ausflügen in den Corcovado Park etwas essen zu können.

Fijn hotel
Pros:

Lekker zwembad en mooie plek. Alle faciliteiten aanwezig en ontbijt kan vanaf 5:00 wat erg fijn is voor de verschillende activiteiten in de omgeving.

Cons:

Let op als je met de boot komt, het is een redelijk stukje omhoog lopen met koffer. Daarnaast is het handig om één vervulbare waterfles bij je te hebben, want je kan je water alleen bijvullen bij de ingang van het hotel.

Le lit la douche

Cons:

Nous pensions que l hôtel était plus proche de la plage , avec une pente nettement moins raide pour y accéder. Les petits déjeuner etaient moyens, et au fil des jours diminaient en termes de quantité ...Ou bien ils manquait des ingrédients. Prévoir un taxi pour transporter les bagages lors de l arrivée et du départ via Sierpe. La piscine aurait aussi besoin d’un filtre plus puissant. Bref déçue.

Das Frühstück war gut aber musste vorgewählt werden

Cons:

Das originale Zimmer war ein sehr schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir wurde aufgrund einer defekten Klimaanlage umgebucht und upgegradet. Die Luxus-Zimmer sind ok. Insgesamt ist das Hotel aber ohne schönen Ausblick und mit sehr beengten Verhältnissen nicht zu empfehlen

Pros:

Freundliche, hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Poolanlage perfekt zum Entspannen nach einer anstrengenden Tour im Corcovado und nach dem Schnorcheln. Frühstück ist solide und vor allem sehr gut organisiert, was wichtig ist um pünktlich zu den Touren zu kommen.

Cons:

Das Zimmer hatte einen etwas muffigen Geruch.

Drake Bay is such an amazing old-school Costa Rica, if you’re thinking if it’s a good idea to go - definately do it :) the hotel was average, we loved that we had a small kitchen, because we like to buy some fruits or make a coffee - so it was nice. Also it was big and the balcony is cosy.

Cons:

The worst thing for me was breakfast - really not more than average. Also I don’t like when you arrive to the hotel and they charge you for parking. And the pool area could be nicer and cosier - the pool itself could use some refreshment works :)

Perfect Stay with Excellent Service and Amenities!
Pros:

We had a wonderful time during my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with a modern bathroom that had everything we needed. The swimming pool was great, perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from. What stood out the most was the helpful staff, who were always ready to assist with anything we needed. Highly recommend!

- hubo un problema con el water y la recepcionista costarricense nos cambió de habitación sin problema.

Cons:

- la recepcionista extranjera. Le costaba entender español y no era amable.
- tener que reservar el desayuno (hay que especificar la hora y cual desayuno) el día anterior antes de las 5.

Nice stay in Drake Bay
Pros:

The staff here are nice and willing to help. The hotel is located right around the corner from a short walk to the main street for restaurants, shops, and road the to the beach. The pool is a nice area to enjoy and depending on your room you have access to a kitchen, laundry, etc. The restaurant staff and food were acceptable, though not everything was served that was on the breakfast menu.

Cons:

It's important to note that not all rooms have AC, some only fans and windows. And, the wifi doesn't necessarily work/reach all rooms. Both are to be expected when you are in such a remote area like Drake Bay. Not a huge issue, but good to know. Reaching the hotel wasn't an issue with our 4x4.
