Drilling maintenance work started by 08:00 A.M and too noisy.
No basic support lift and shift luggage/baggage
Waited in reception with hand luggage/baggage for 12 mins as only one lady at reception was there.
All staff were very good
There was construction work that they didn't tell us about and the restaurant was not clean and the valet staff were hardly rude

El personal no era malo, pero tuve una situación. Resulta que saqué el hospedaje con errores en la fecha y cuando le pedí si me lo podían cambiar la chica me dijo que no aún así hice la cancelación. Y aunque ella me dijo que ya no había disponibilidad en el Hotel cuando intenté volver a sacar en Booking me dieron la opción de volver a sacar en el Hotel porque si había es decir que no me cambió porque no quiso. Esto se lo comuniqué a Booking y directamente me permitió hacer el cambio, pero como ya he recalcado no porque lo haya mejorado el personal, sino porque la propia compañía Booking tomó la decisión teniendo en cuenta que soy un cliente habitual

I am thoroughly enjoying my stay at Ibis One Central, so much so that I’ve extended it for another six months until December 31st, 2026!
The classic rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and feel incredibly homely, featuring a highly functional work table and a cozy sofa. The hotel's location is perfect for quick access to DIFC, housekeeping does a flawless job every day, and the breakfast buffet offers an excellent, high-quality variety.
Most importantly, the staff's integrity is unmatched. A special thanks to Arvin Decosta at reception. When I accidentally paid with a 500 AED note instead of 50 AED, he immediately called my room to inform me and return the money. This level of honesty and world-class service perfectly reflects the high standards here. Highly recommended!
I am writing to share some constructive feedback regarding recent room updates at the Ibis One Central Hotel, as well as a safety concern that requires immediate attention.
First, regarding room layouts: I find that the design of the classic, un-renovated rooms offers much better spatial utility. They are spacious and highly functional for long-term stays. In contrast, the newly renovated rooms feel quite cramped, with insufficient space for luggage and a work table that is far too small for business needs.
Second, I want to bring a specific safety hazard to your attention. The newly installed bathroom door handles have very sharp edges that pose a risk to guests. Unfortunately, I sustained an injury to my left hand due to this design. From a safety perspective, these fixtures require urgent review.
Because of this incident and the layout constraints, I requested a room change and have successfully relocated from Room (14th floor) to (6th floor).
As a long-term guest, I value the hospitality here and hope this feedback is helpful for your ongoing maintenance and design evaluations. I highly recommend having your engineering team inspect the door handles in the renovated rooms to prevent future injuries.
