It is certainly not a 5 star hotel. A 3+ is more than enough.
Pros:

The pool.

Based on my review below, the owner of the hotel was kind enough to call me and politely followed up on my notes. He explained that the electricity cut was due to electricity shut down until their generators turned on. It had nothing to do with the 12 noon check out. He also promised to address each of the issues raised in my review.

Cons:

We felt very unwelcome. Staff at breakfast were very unprofessional and made us feel that we exceeded our time at breakfast knowing that the hotel was not crowded. The satellite was not working, so no TV. When we asked twice, they replied twice that the problem is from "Blatt" town. If they call themselves a 5 star hotel, they should have their own satellite. We ordered a simple chicken sandwich by the pool at night, it came after 45 minutes. The staff want you to believe that they are polite and professional but all talk and no actions. They certainly need training to know that being professional is not only about saying: "of course madame", "welcome madame", "certainly madame". The shower massage was very disappointing, the showers were not strong and some of them were cold water. So you cannot stand and have a peaceful shower massage because you are hit by cold water and very hot water, very uncomfortable and certainly not relaxing. When we told the lady there, she said "yes customers complained about this". Also, nothing is a walking distance from the hotel, no mini market, no restaurants, nothing, only a university! And no minibar. And the cherry on top was when they put the electricity off at 12 noon in a way to remind us that we must leave!!! They kept it off for about a minute and then turned it back on. It was like a warning, "leave now and don't be late"!! Never ever in my entire stay in many many hotels from 3 stars to 5 did I encounter such a rude way of reminding you that you must leave. It was a really bad and disappointing experience.

Pros:

Greatest hotel on planet earth. Great amenities, clean room, best everything. Was extremely kind to us.
Has a simple but tasty breakfast buffet, and the staff are always heads over heels to help us.
Will definitely be going back after the war.
