We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Folen and it is great for access to the station , metro and airport shuttle bus.
Pros:

This small hotel was very convenient for Central station and was perfect for us as we arrived by train and we were only staying one night in Milan. The metro to the centre of Milan was also at the station. the airport shuttle bus was outside the hotel building which we used when we left Milan . The hotel was clean and the rooms were a good size. The breakfast was simple but sufficient. We were served a very nice cappuccino and the staff were very friendly

Cons:

Our room ( no 505) was right outside the breakfast area so there was a bit of noise in the morning from other guests but it was not very loud.

Pros:

המלון מעבר לכביש של תחנת סנרטלה המרכזית. במטרו 4 תחנות יש לדומו בקו הצהוב. בתחנה יש הרבה מסעדות. ארוחת בוקר נחמדה . המלון מבריק, החדר מרווח וכך גם חדר הרחצה. העובדים ענו על כל שאלותינו ונתנו טיפים. ממש קרוב למלון יש אוטובוסים העלות של 10 יורו לשדה התעופה .

Hotel Folen: the Best/Safest at Milano Centrale.
Pros:

The overall staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. Ladies attending breakfast were the best of all our experiences from Egypt to Istanbul, Athens and Rome(terrible). These ladies can teach others at many other hotels. Even with some difficulties with the English language, they were the best in their friendly, very attentive communication abilities. They are the priceless jewels of Hotel Folen!

Cons:

As stated above.. the staff especially the very attentive ladies at breakfast between May 26 and 29. Very safe hotel in the direct Milano Cle area.

Ideal location, very clean and well-kept hotel with friendly staff
Pros:

The hotel was spotlessly clean and looked as though it had been decorated very recently. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Located very close to the main Milan railway station

Pros:

La limpieza y la atención. Es muy extraño, hay más de 5 hoteles en el edificio. Uno por piso al parecer, pero éste, estaba bien iluminado y limpio. El desayuno normal. La habitación muy buena, aire acondicionado. El baño exelente.

Cons:

Al principio me asusté por la entrada al edificio pero al llegar al 5 piso todo cambió

Very clean and friendly hotel. Front desk and breakfast staff are very nice and helpful.
Pros:

It’s closed to all attractions especially the tour buses and the main train stations

The stairway to get into the elevator because we had too many luggage.

Praktisch, einfach, freundlich, sauber.
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt gleich neben dem Hauptbahnhof Mailand. Wir sind mit dem Zug angekommen, haben dort übernachtet und sind am nächsten Tag weiter gereist. Das Gleiche auf der Rückreise.
Gemütliches Hotel, sehr wahrscheinlich ein Familienbetrieb. Das Zimmer und der Rest sehr sauber. Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück okay.

Cons:

Die Preise für ein 3-Sterne-Hotel in Mailand, wie das Hotel Folen, sind m. E. zu hoch.

Pros:

The location, the staffs are all very welcoming and helpfull. Clear instruction for check in. Use the lift on the right to 5th floor. If the gate locked just press button for Folen hotel.
They let us check in early. Breakfast are enough to make us satisfied, lots of variety in smaller size. The room was clean. Our window was looking out to airport bus to malpensa and the mercato. Window was clean and most night we left it open for fresh air. Would stay again here if we were in Milan again

Cons:

Nothing to dislike.
