Ibis Budget Dijon ST Apollinaire

We booked last minute at 2am while driving all night from the UK. We planned a stop to reach family and we had zero expectations. I have been reading some bad reviews while my husband's was driving, but I have learnt that people are often over complaining. I was right ! I would not book a holiday of more than 1 night there, but for the purpose it had it was: super clean, confortable bed, bunk bed for our son, my dog was more than welcome, as well. The car has parked in a fenced and protected car park. Don't worry, on Booking.com they say latest check in is at 22 but it can be later! Good breakfast and warm shower to wake us up. Ready for the next caffeine intake and off to Frejus tunnel. I would be back for one night stay. Thanks for keeping us safe and restoring 4 tired travellers.

Check in und out problemlos. Die Betten sind gut. Die Zimmer sauber. Einziger Minuspunkt: wenn man vor 7:30 Uhr auschecken will, bekommt man leider kein ordentliches Frühstück.

Everything else is acceptable, but the room is poorly soundproofed and not very clean. I've been busy catching little spiders before going to bed.
The only thing that makes me happy is that the staff here is very friendly and enthusiastic.

Good stop off for travelling further into Europe. Dijon well worth a visit.

Clean and efficient hotel with comfy beds. Good location for an overnight stay on your way from Northern Europe to Italy. Breakfast is decent and parking is plentiful. Hotel is right next to the motorway but a short bus ride into Dijon. Great place!

The receptionist seemed a bit bothered that we even arrived. The room was very dated. The breakfast was very minimal. Free parking was a plus, that is the only positive thing.
