Pros:

It is a lovely heritage building surrounded by well tended gardens and has a beautiful swimming pool.
Pool towels are provided.
Comfortable bed

Cons:

There was an overwhelming toxic smell of moth balls in the bedroom. (Napthalene)
Bad communication regarding available services
Food options unclear - a simple menu on the front desk with services/options available would help? Given that food isn’t provided as a general rule it would be good to have clear options.
Grimy bathroom, with a smell of drains.
Water bottle and glasses in bedroom dirty
No drinks offered at breakfast time - had to request tea
No option given for time of breakfast - we were just told that breakfast was at 9am.
Messages sent via booking.com didn’t seem to be passed on.
We had a mix up with our taxi booking - it had been booked for an hour early meaning we missed breakfast.

Pros:

It is a beautiful property and the fact that it is pet-friendly makes it a perfect getaway. The food, staff, ambience and the property in itself is warm and comforting.

Cons:

The only things missing were pool toys and floaters. The food was amazing including the breakfast but the dinner price wise was a little steep.

Pros:

Very lovely bungalow with neat and spacious rooms. Staff are friendly and make all the effort to ensure comfort of guests. Yummy breakfast cooked at their kitchen itself. Good variety everyday. Nice swimming pool too. We had a very comfortable stay here.

A beautiful place to relax, swim and read
Pros:

The Island House is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The staff were so friendly and attentive. I loved the swimming pool, the garden and the terraces. There was always somewhere to sit, sip tea and relax in the most beautiful surroundings. The breakfasts were simply cooked and delicious.

What a beautiful colonial house tastefully decorated !
Pool is very well maintained as all the house.
I liked the Indian Vogue/ AD magazines and books everywhere.
Cute village is 10 min walk. 2 restaurant options who can easily deliver.
Beware of opening hours (open at lunch and diner time only)
Indian breakfast. You can ask continental options.

Cons:

Main manager was only reachabel by whatsapp during our stay.
Because of the localisation its difficult to find fresh fruits on the Island.

Pros:

If someone needs a peaceful stay in a place like a village with all comfort, this property is highly recommended, our stay was awesome especially thanks to our host Mr Prasad....Thanks prasad for taking care of us with so much warmth
