everything was ok , the owner of the cabins and his familia aswell were very kind and gentle with myself. also very helpful to reserve the boat back to sierpe .
Good location, clean room with fresh bed linen and towels. Bathroom was clean with nice soap provided. Internet connection was good
Despite two fans room was warm, stuffy and airless. Very bright and cold led main source of light. Kitchen did not have any stove to cook or kettle to boil water. Entire backyard was covered with corrugated sheet metal which made the place confined and not spacious. I’d say I don’t recommend.
The hosting family is so nice and caring! Alondre booked us seats on the boat to Drake Bay and provided some additional useful information about the place, before we got there. Also during and after our stay, they were helpful and answered all our questions.
The room is very nice and clean and lovingly equipped. It's a big bonus, that the room has its own fridge and we appreciated the details like a big mirror, a bench, a wardrobe, enough hooks in the bathroom and an additional small towel. So far we haven't found things like that in other accomodations of that price range.
The cabin was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was spacious and we loved that there was a fridge in the room.
It was quiet at night and the kitchen facilities were basic but more than sufficient for our needs. Drinking water was provided, the WiFi worked well.
Alondra was a attentive and kind host. She kept our bags for an extra night when we went to San Josecito and helped us organise boat and tours.

Potential improvement could be to put mosquito mesh on the cabin windows and doors.
The bathroom was very nice and comfortable ensuite to the bedroom. The bedroom also had a little fridge and sofa to relax on. The owner picked me up from the boat and made a reservation for the ferry back, she was super friendly.
Drake bay is quite small, so you're close to everything.
Bed was a little hard, but still comfortable. My only wish would have been to have a socket near the bed, but the stay was amazing nonetheless.
I really liked my room, it was spacious, clean, with a nice bathroom and a fridge. The house has a shared patio and kitchen. Alondra, the host, is extremely welcoming and she also did her best to accommodate a personal request that was very important for me. Thanks once again!
Great location, feels tucked away in Drake Bay but just a 5 minute walk to the main beach. Friendly family-run place. Alondra was sweet and attentive to our needs. Prompt communication throughout booking and stay. The shower in the room was amazing!!! Free drinking water always available was a big plus. Alondra graciously let us upgrade to the A/C room for two nights when they didn't have other bookings.
We typically don't book accommodation with A/C but made the mistake of booking a room without air conditioning here which was completely unbearable during the day and only slightly better at night. We cook most of our meals and the kitchen was very basic with no kettle/way to boil water. The wifi connection was very slow and spotty, as one might expect in such a remote location. Lastly, this is not the host's fault but beware that the neighbor's cat (grey cat) badly bit my partner's leg and drew blood--would not recommend interacting with this cat as it seemed friendly and then did this unexpectedly and led to worry of possible diseases until we were told it was vaccinated.
Fantastic value for money. Well located in the town, decent sized clean room, two powerful fans, powerful but cold shower. Daily housekeeping. Kitchen reasonably well equipped. Alondra very responsive.
We should have chosen the room with aircon, but the fans and open windows made our room comfortable. Kitchen area is basic but is clean and we managed to make some simple meals.

It was very clean, comfortable, and peaceful room. Outside kitchen, free drinking water. Alondra (Alo) was like an angel. She helped us in everything (for examples: boat reservation, tour organisation, orientation in the bay). It was our best place to sleep in Costa Rica! Highly recommended!
