Toller Aufenthalt am Genfersee mitten in den Weinbergen
Pros:

Die Lage direkt am Genfersee ist wunderschön, gelegen mitten in den Weinbergen. Der Bahnhof Rivaz so wie der Hafen sind vor der Haustür, man braucht nicht mal eine Minute. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Unterkunft sauber und schön eingerichtet. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Wir empfehlen es!

Cons:

Die Badezimmer sind etwas veraltet, dennoch sehr sauber und haben alles, was man braucht.

Perfect place for wine and food enthusiasts
Pros:

I chose the Auberge de Rivaz because it is an easy walk from the train station and from Vinorama, a tasting room for small local wine producers. The location was beautiful, right between the golden vineyards and Lake Geneva. I booked two rooms: one for my adult son and one for me. My son chose the smaller one because it had a balcony with a view. Mine (#14) was quite large with beautiful antique furniture and a splendid bath. The restaurant is excellent. We very much enjoyed both dinner and breakfast the next morning. The staff are very friendly and speak impeccable English.

Cons:

My only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

Pros:

Das Essen war ausgesprochen gut. Ebenso die Sicht auf den Genfersee. Ein schöner Badeplatz liegt ganz in der Nähe.

Cons:

Der Strassenlärm ist schon sehr störend. An einen Schlaf mit offenem Fenster ist kaum zu denken. Die guten Fenster (Dreifachglas) schaffen da allerdings etwas Abhilfe.
