Still a great hotel, being honest on my review
Pros:

The breakfast staff and manger were, as always excellent. The breakfast was fine and the room warm and comfortable. The location for me is just right and the parking helps .

Cons:

My room 4 is noisy (road noise), the light also leaks in from various places. Generally the public spaces are showing the age they are. I nevertheless would stay again. I hope it a different part of the hotel.

It was average. We did enjoy our meal very much.
Pros:

Good location. Lovely meal.

Cons:

We had to deal with a really squeaky bathroom door with lip balm.
Only 1 large towel in the bathroom between 2 of us.
The shower cubicle is far too small.
Dirty stain on the bedsheet. Side nearest the window near the bottom of the bed.
The room was ok, quite tired. Could do with some TLC.

Good food. Staff very busy but helpful. Pleasant stay.
Pros:

Location is good. Room very spacious and tastefully decorated. Enjoyed evening meal. Lovely en suite.

Cons:

Bed was far too hard for us. Quite uncomfortable..affected quality of sleep.

All we expected - best thing was the staff - first rate!
Pros:

Excellent choices, timing and quality.

Main problem is location on a very busy junction and ‘idiot’ drivers.

Can’t see how you could improve things.

Cons:

Stairs need attention. Problems with security opening at top of door, bannister not good enough, cosmetically and resulting lack of trust.
