Pros:

Es el único alojamiento dentro del cañón, con vistas impresionantes y con la posibilidad de recorrer el cañón a pie a primera hora sin gente porque el acceso a la zona está cerrado hasta las 9. Tiene varias terrazas en las que poder estar tomando algo, incluso después del cierre de la cafetería.

Cons:

Lo más importante a tener en cuenta es el parking porque no es un parking del hotel, es una zona al final de la carretera donde puede estacionar cualquiera y qué además tiene poco sitio. La carretera para llegar es un infierno, muy estrecha donde los días con mucha afluencia la gente deja los coches estacionados a ambos lados, esto sumado a la cantidad de gente que va caminando, hace que la llegada al "parking" sea toda una odisea. Encima, el parking está a 300 metros del hotel, por un camino empedrado, aconsejamos llevar una mochila con lo básico para pasar la noche porque con maleta de ruedas es imposible.
Por otro lado, el horario del restaurante y cafetería es de 9:00 a 20:00 y la cocina cierra a las 19:00, así que si llegas tarde llévate algo de comida.

Una estada en harmonia amb la natura
Pros:

M'ha encantat la calma del lloc al vespre, quan no hi havia turisme.

Cons:

La brossa que hi havia a l'aigua i en el camí, tot i que això no depèn de l'hotel.
Els preus del restaurant, molt car.

Amazing experience
Pros:

The location and view were amazing.

Cons:

The distance between the hotel and the parking opportunity is a decent walk with a cobblestone path.
Be prepared, because with a suitcase this isn't great.
Besides that there isn't much in suggestions/signs where to go after parking.
This could be slightly confusing.

L'atmosfera e la tranquillità del posto e della camera, il design accogliente, rustico e caldo. Il frigo era già fornito di acqua e più volte rifornito durante la permanenza insieme al cambio di teli del bagno e i molteplici regali della struttura: caffè la mattina, buffet a colazione e vini e acque in omaggio

Idyllisch, aber etwas chaotisch
Pros:

Eine schöne Unterkunft in diesem Canyon. Frühstück ist inklusive, jeden Tag wird Wasser zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Dies kann ich sehr positiv hervorheben!

Bis 20:00 ertönt Musik aus dem Restaurant darunter, danach ist es aber sehr ruhig, da der Canyon nur noch für Hotelgäste geöffnet ist- und dieser mittels Tor geschlossen wird. Das Tor lässt sich unkompliziert mit einem Code für Hotelgäste öffnen.

Cons:

Zwar sind die Parkplätze kostenlos, dennoch weiter von der Unterkunft entfernt. Die Straße dorthin ist schmal, wenn ein Auto entgegenkommt, muss man rückwärts zurückschieben. Insgesamt ist diese Situation etwas chaotisch. Das Gepäck muss einige hundert Meter zum Hotel getragen werden, es wäre praktisch, wenn es einen Service dafür gäbe.

Een aanrader!
Pros:

Een geweldige locatie aan de oever van de canyon.
Het restaurant heeft een fantastisch uitzicht op de canyon. Het ontbijt (buffetvorm) en het diner (a la carte) is zeer goed.

Matka Canyon ligt op een kleine 3 uur rijden vanaf Ohrid. Deze rit was echter meer dan de moeite waard!
In het hoogseizoen kan het overdag erg druk zijn. Ondanks dit gegeven, zijn er voldoende kayaks beschikbaar en is er altijd wel plek op de rondvaartboten die worden ingezet.
