Wonderful stay surrounded by ricefields
Pros:

Beautiful view over the rice fields, exceptional service, very lovely and helpful owner, really good freshly cooked food for reasonable price and big portions. Good breakfast. Close to a lot of cafes and restaurants. Good location to start hikes and motorbike tours (we did both self guided following the suggestions of the host). We loved our stay here.

Cons:

Nothing about the property. Just be aware, you are in the middle of a local town, in nature, hence you will hear roosters in the morning (earplugs are supplied), might find some bugs and also will encounter people trying to sell their stuff to you.

Amazing homestay
Pros:

Incredible views, a peaceful and relaxing stay. Room very clean, cosy and homely vibes, wish I could have stayed longer! Staff super friendly, providing late check in/out, luggage storage and an amazing breakfast each morning (menu to choose multiple options from including vegan/veggie). Great location with restaurants nearby and affordable taxi into town. Highly recommended!

Gemütlicher Bungalow in sehr schöner Lage; äußerst kinderfreundlich - es gab sogar einen kleinen Pool zum Planschen, den unsere Kinder (5 & 7 Jahre) gemeinsam mit dem Sohn der Gastgeber nutzen durften; sehr hilfsbereit bei allem & ausgezeichnetes Essen. Wir haben hier drei wunderschöne, erholsame Tage verbracht und würden den Homestay uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

As a short stay, it’s fine. A bit more rustic than we expected. Overall, we were pretty satisfied.
Pros:

The restaurant area was a good place to talk to people. The staff were friendly and helpful. We liked the view and atmosphere.

Cons:

Our room had a slight ant infestation. It had a smell of mildew (probably cannot be helped at certain times of year) but it’s a bit distracting every time you enter.

Pros:

Scenery is so beautiful and the rustic style of the bungalow we had fit right into the landscape. Staff were super friendly and helped us booking a one day trek

Cons:

Not so much anything specific about the property but the whole area is incredible hilly, narrow roads so big wheely suitcases are a bit annoying to carry around. Also note there was no airconditioning in the room but a fan did the job as it is generally a lot cooler here

Superb!
Pros:

Our family stayed in a bungalow with a breathtaking view. Waking up to the magnificent mountains and rice fields was an amazing experience. The owners were incredibly friendly, responsive, and caring, making us feel like home. We also to visited their restaurant every day, which was a delightful addition to our stay. Highly recommend this place!

Sehr gutes Frühstück. Die Familie hilft einem gerne beim Motorroller buchen und gibt Tips, was man je nach Wetter in der Region um Sapa machen kann. Die Bungalows sind sehr groß und haben einen tollen Ausblick. Die Lage ist super mit Restaurants und Shops außenrum, auch wenn das Essen bei Plum auch sehr gut ist.

Месторасположение хорошее, рядом с 1-2 минутах куча кафе и ресторанов с прекрасным видом
Комната чистая. Достаточно бумаги, зубная щетка, паста, гель, шампунь.
Вид из номера открывается красивейший
Завтрак - нормальный. Я брала блины.
Понравлюсь что при отеле есть ресторан, в целом как и везде в сапе. Еда была вкусная.

Cons:

Каждую ночь мыши грызли потолок и я просыпалась. Иногда в 12 ночи, иногда в 3. Было не комфортно.

Виды в деревне неплохие, хотя нам соседняя понравилась больше, цена, наличие завтраков.

Cons:

Номер темный, пастель очень неприятная и не чистая, холодно, подогрева нету. Горячей воды хватает на 3 минуты, искупаться не успеваешь. Грязные ковры везде, матрас старый и продавленный. Неудобный и не чистый накомарник, непонятная территория. Не вернулись бы.

Très bon séjour au milieu des rizières en terrasse
Pros:

Homestay situé à Ta Van, au milieu des rizières en terrasse. Nous avions logés dans un bungalow qui est situé à 1-2 minutes à pied du bâtiment principal. Le petit déjeuner est bon : 1 plat et 1 boisson. C'est copieux. Nous étions arrivés très tôt à Sapa par un bus de nuit depuis Hanoï et nous avions pu laisser nos bagages dans un café au centre-ville de Sapa pour la journée. Par ailleurs, le café propose de très bons petits déjeuners. Ils peuvent aussi organiser des randonnées avec des femmes Hmongs et ils vous autorisent à vous doucher même après le check-out, si vous avez un bus de nuit juste après par exemple.

Cons:

Rien, mais s'il faut vraiment trouver quelque chose, les coqs qui chantent

Lovely staff and location. Excellent food available. Beautiful views from the room. Really nice relaxing vibe.

Cons:

The rooms have no sound proofing at all.

Not the fault of the staff, but the local farmers were doing burn offs and the air was very thick with smoke, meaning limited views and not great for health. I did not due the hiking I had been planning to do due to the smoke. This was late April.

Tranquille en campagne
Pros:

Très bien situé. Belle vue depuis les balcons. Lit confortable. Beaucoup d’espace pour deux personnes. Wifi très bon. Petit frigo apprécié. Bon déjeuner.

Cons:

Il faut savoir qu’il n’y a pas de climatisation, mais il y a des ventilateurs si le bruit ne vous dérange pas. On a vu des insectes, mais bon, nous sommes en campagne. Beaucoup de tapis un peu partout, mais il y a des sandales fournies. C’est plus ambiance hôtel que Homestay. Nous n’avons pas vraiment eu d’échanges avec la famille.
