This is a tricky one because the family who own this place are incredibly lovely however…
- This place is not good value for money and is overpriced for what it is… I’ve stayed in a lot nicer places on my SE Asia trip for cheaper or at least that include breakfast. You don’t even get any room service for the price.
- You might as well sleep outside with how loud you can hear everything outside!
- The rooms didn’t feel clean either, one of the cups had mould in them which isn’t acceptable.
- The family rooms have a really dingy feel and don’t have windows, we requested to change to two doubles instead which was annoying as it cost us more but we couldn’t stay in there for 4 nights.
- A side note, but they have a hotel taxi driver who was lovely at the start but was pretty persistent that we use him to take us places but his prices were just too high. He wanted to charge us 150,000 for a 5 minute journey down the road! So we used grab instead and got the same journey for around 50,000… It’s annoying to be persistent if he’s just going to charge a lot when we do want to use his services

the owner was so nice and picked us up in the middle of the night. Valerie for money exceptional. heated blanket as it was freezing in sapa and helpful stuff.
the bed could be a bit softer but that’s just what I prefer and the blue lights in the bathroom were a bit funny but it’s nothing to complain about to be honest.
