Very convenient to the airport. Owner Sharon was an absolutely lovely person and made us very welcome. Sharon gave us a lift to the airport the next morning which was such a nice thing for someone to do.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a good location, very close to Cardiff Airport, and was quiet. It was basically clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fine.
The principal reason for my moderate score is that the hotel is very basic and very tired; it clearly hasn't been updated for many years. There was a smell of chip fat pervading the accommodation. Had it been half the price I would have had lower expectations and my rating would have reflected that. On balance I probably wouldn't stay there again except out of necessity.

Great location, very convenient as it is so close to the airport. The hotel is run by a fantastic couple who are just genuinely nice people.
The lady who owns the place was very helpful she even gave us a lift to the function we was attending

Clean room/hotel. Staff were OK, not rude as such but interesting people to say the least. The hotel served it's purpose.
Breakfast was very basic. Weren't offered full English breakfast like you would normally get in other hotels. We were offered either scrambled, fried or poached egg on toast. No butter. We had tea/coffee and had the option of cerial and fruit/fruit juice. Nothing else. Quite disappointed with the breakfast.

It was clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly, and the location was handy for our visit to Barry.
Our room was quite small and lacking storage space. Would have preferred more pillows and better lighting in our room. We didn't realize when booking that there wasn't a full cooked breakfast, but food on toast was available. No restaurant but snacks were available.
