The Landlady left me a note saying I shouldn't smoke in the room, I've never smoked. Friday you won't sleep until
2pm as the courtyard is full of drinkers.
Has everything you would need
I could get the light in the bathroom work so had to shower in the dark which was inconvenient at best
Within walking distance of everything in town. There’s parking at the property, although a bit tight getting in ( I have a Ford Focus). It was so handy having a fridge and a microwave. The room itself seems basic but little touches like magazines in the drawer, shower gel, shampoo, hairdryer and an iron (and ironing board!), and milk and bottles of water in the fridge made it really comfortable. Only draw back was the noise from the pub, but it’s only to be expected on a Saturday night and you’re right behind the pub. I just took earplugs lol. The staff in the pub were lovely
Convenient, not too bad a price for August,
Noise until 2am. Then again at 07.00 arguing and shouting. People trying the door at night which was unsettling.

Central location was ideal especially with free secure parking no breakfast available but that's fine as witherspoon is opposite you have tea making facilities a microwave and fridge in your room so all good

Great location right in the centre of Chard. Good sized fridge and good microwave. Hairdryer and iron/ironing board were useful (and we used both). Very helpful and friendly staff.
There was a dehumidifier in the room. But, it was a little bit noisy. So we couldn't really have it on while we were there.
clean peaceful, and a little different to what we generally do. nice touch to have these little apartments away from the main place. gives you a real sense of privacy, this is something we both liked very much. will be coming back. the landlady and family were very nice friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. the shower a little small, but we are not so small lol. there were tea coffee making facility's with fresh new milk and bottled water in the fridge. again nice touch beds very comfortable. many thanks for reading and hope this give a little insight from our prospective. :)
we felt the shower was a little small, smallest i have ever seen, but with the size and outlay fully understandable,. Still have to say, good value for money.
Clean room. Friendly host, it was very hot and we were offered bottled water and a fan for the room.
Ideally situated for us, as we were attending a function at the Rugby Club across the road.
Good, clean, cheap accommodation.
Access to parking was very narrow.
Just a small rail to hang clothes but no coat hangers anyway.
No breakfast but easy to cross the road to Wetherspoons, which was directly opposite.
Outside seating area could have been tidier.
Spotless bed linen and comfortable beds. Also use of a fridge and finding a fresh bottle of milk in side. There were lots of unexpected extras too not just the milk e.g hair dryer toiletries and ironing board . Extra pillows were also provided at no extra cost
The step up made access difficult to the accommodation for someone using a rollator or wheelchair and very little space inside to store it
Different room than my last stay, and exactly the same pleasurable atmosphere. Great to have a fridge, and it had a pint of milk in it ready for us. Chairs and table outside each room to sit and relax or smoke.
I can't think of anything negative to say.
