Meerzugang nicht möglich, zum reduzierten Preis okay.
Pros:

Grundsätzlich ein schönes Hotel, das etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Für den deutlich reduzierten Preis war es okay.

Cons:

Der private Hotelstrand liegt zwischen zwei Felsen und die allgemein vorhandenen Braunalgen sammeln sich hier verstärkt, so dass ein Zugang zum Meer nicht möglich war.

Relax,
Pros:

There was someone available to speak to at most times when needed, everything was kept very clean and they made suggestions for us on things to do. The massages were wonderful- kukulkan massage was wonderful, but we also got the couples massage with coffee exfoliation, clay wrap, and herbal bath and that was more romantic. Both of the massages take place on a deck outside where you listen to the birds and the ocean (See Photo). Very relaxing. Front Desk/Concierge were fantastic and will let you know where to go if you want to go party as well depending on your crowd. They also seem to have people come clean up Sargassum weekly so you will see it...they came on a Wednesday, don't know if it is every Wednesday though.

Cons:

That we didn't take advantage more of the massage services! But recommend going into town for cheap food because all the local food is super expensive- there are some great restaurants with cheap tacos for like 18 to 25 pesos ($1-1.50 per) in town vs 250($14) nearby and was a bit better in our opinion in some cases. Taxi into town are about 250 to 300 pesos($14-16.50 for about 2 miles), and you can rent a bike for cheaper if you feel the need. Beers locally are about 80-180 pesos (5-10 bucks)- cocktails can run you a lot more- in town cheaper.

Mooi verblijf vanwege prive-strand.
Pros:

Het personeel, en dat men name de congierge, was super behulpzaam en vriendelijk! De locatie is goed met leuke restaurants in de omgeving. De kamer was mooi schoon en er was een fijne douche beschikbaar. Het is ook fijn dat er een aparte parkeergelegenheid is waar de auto gratis kan staan. Het strand is een kleine baai dat gedeeld wordt met 2 andere hotels die even klein zijn dus zeer rustig, heel aangenaam. Helaas hadden wij last van zeewier, maar dat is niet de schuld van het hotel.

Cons:

De bedden en de hoofdkussens op de kamer zijn matig. Verder is op te merken dat de houten looppaden en de trappen hun beste tijd hebben gehad. De ligbedden zijn ook niet meer in beste staat en daardoor moet je met voorzichtigheid gaan zitten/liggen. Het ontbijt (bij ons inclusief) kan je bij MINA (naastgelegen restaurant) doen. De eerste ochtend was het fantastisch mooi opgemaakt en compleet, echter beseften zij pas bij het afrekenen dat het ontbijt inclusief was. De volgende ochtend was het ontbijt heel summier en karig, waarschijnlijk (eigen invulling) omdat ze toen beseften dat het ontbijt bij de boeking hoorde.

Peace and quiet in Tulum. Excellent hotel to relax!
Pros:

It was just perfect since the time of booking when we received a message via booking.com with a little questionnaire about our preferences, dislikes, etc. This was just the beginning. Excellent communication via WhatsApp further on.

We stayed in a penthouse with a large terrace and an outdoor bath, which can be filled with hot water. Amazing experience after sunset - highly recommended!

Our aim in Tulum was to chill and unwind - the opposite of parties, which this place seems to be famous for. This hotel provided just that!

Very friendly staff. Simple check-in and check-out. Excellent breakfast. Private beach and a lovely deck to meet the sunrise.

Cannot find one fault there!

Hotel overall is a little tired, but we found this to be the norm in this area. This even adds some charm and makes the place cosy and homey.

Special thanks to Sergio, Sebastian and Diana who made our short stay so comfortable. Also to Jorge for exceptional room clean. And also all the staff in the bar for their attention and best ever Mojitos!

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, conveniently located
Pros:

The property was beautiful, with clean and comfortable rooms, easy access to the beach, and walking distance to local restaurants. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The property was also walking distance to the National Park, with beaches, Mayan ruins, and other amenities. We would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Tulum.

C'est du propre!
Pros:

J'ai beaucoup aimé la propreté de la chambre. Le service quotidien de nettoyage était impeccable. Un vrai bonheur de rentrer dans la chambre après une journée de plage. Bravo à Raul qui faisait un travail exceptionnel !
Le calme la nuit, juste le bruit de la mer et un peu celui du vent.

Cons:

Comme pour tous les hébergements sur la côte Maya, les prix sont totalement surfaits... Les hôtels ne sont pas pleins. Les restaurants attendent désespérément des clients. Les Beach Club sont désertés. Par contre, les algues sargas se sont déjà installées...

Amazing place!
Pros:

We had an amazing stay Maria Del Mar. We stayed 4 nights in the seaview balcony suite and had a large comfortable room with a great view from the balcony.

The hotel has a private beach shared with the hotel next door, and it was really chilled and quiet, with plenty of sunbeds and a beautiful view. There's also an incredible panoramic sea view from the deck next to the beach. Having breakfast on the beach every morning was perfect! The hotel is also located in a great part of Tulum, very chilled but with loads of great bars and restaurants nearby.

The staff were great too, big thanks to Santiago who organised a private boat trip where we swam with turtles - ask for the boat trip with Kiké, it was incredible. 100% recommended and we will definitely stay here again if we go back to Tulum!!
