Loved our overnight at Le Grand Hotel
Pros:

Large room and we had a view of the port and a small balcony . Extremely quiet , very well soundproofed . Comfortable bed.
We were very happy with our overnight there
We chose to go out for breakfast so cannot comment on the hotel breakfast but the room they serve it in is nice
The hotel is a short walk to the amazing market ' Les Halles ' we wanted to buy everything there lol .. a must see ...
Many restaurants options and cafés within a short walking distance . public parking also just a block away which is what we decided to do and was pretty cheap for the overnight

Clean, old world charm in good location. Room was clean, but small and poorly equipped.
Pros:

Location was good. Hotel has some old world charm.
Restaurant was excellent! Great food and wonderful staff.

Cons:

Room was small and poorly furnished. We had one chair with a desk, no other seating. Other rooms had a desk with 2 chairs and a loveseat. No dressers or luggage stand.
To get to the room from the hall there was a narrow entry way that could not accommodate a walker. Bathroom had a 3 inch step up, which was unsafe initially. Lighting was very poor, three low wattage bulbs. We had one mechanical key for the two of us.

schönes Hotel mit nicht so schönen Besonderheiten

- freundlicher Empfang
- freundliches Personal
- altes Haus durchaus mit Charme
- Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick auf den Kanal
- Frühstück im liebevoll dekorierten Hof - mit viel Kunst (Gemälden, Plastiken)

Cons:

- in der Eingangshalle war es sehr sehr kalt - besonders, wenn man von 35 Grad Draußentemperatur das Hotel betritt
- im Treppenhaus und im Zimmer roch es stets extrem nach Desinfektionsmittel (das kann nicht gesund sein), den Geruch im Zimmer wurden wir auch nicht durch lüften los (abgesehen davon, war lüften bei sommerlicher Hitze auch nicht wirklich möglich)
- die Klimaanlage im Zimmer war sehr laut, was sehr störend beim Nachtschlaf war; bei ausgestellter Klimaanlage wurde es aber schnell sehr warm im Zimmer, was ebenfalls nicht förderlich für den Schlaf war :-(
- Kühlschrank IM Kleiderschrank (wer denkt sich sowas aus??) - und die Schranktür wurde vom Personal immer wieder geschlossen - es entwickelte sich eine extreme Wärme im Schrank

Pros:

L'hôtel est tres bien situé et très beau. La chambre vue sur l'étang etait très belle et confortable. La salle de bain d'une taille normale et propre.
