We stay a couple of times a year and find the staff very helpful
Pros:

We stay at the Castle because of its Location and our Grandchildren live in Neath

Cons:

The room we were staying in was extremely cold especially the bathroom.

Castle hotel
Pros:

The room and the bed was really comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Location was great and the continental breakfast was fantastic.

Cons:

The chair to sit on in the room was broken it needs fixing as the cushion dipped and we needed another small lamp by the bed as we only had one on my side. Some coloured lights that could stay on instead of the bright lights.

Breakfast was good but would have preferred English breakfast instead of continental location was good for us has one of our party had mobility issues and we booked a show in bryn Hall so location was brill

Pros:

Location. Staff. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

No hot breakfast on a weekday. Walls very thin with an adjoining door (locked), could hear everything next door. Dated room. The refurbished rooms are better.

Location, appearance on the ground floor, staff customer service

Cons:

The room wasnt fully clean on arrival, there was sweets under the bed and there was a pair of glasses behind one of the bedside tables which had clearly been there for a significant amount of time. Evidence that room hasn't been throughly cleaned for some time. The bed was particularly hard which lead to uncomfortable sleep and back pain when getting up in the morning which is normal issue with the back pain for myself and my partner but this wasnt helpful

A nice feeling to spend two nights where Nelson also stopped over!
Pros:

Lovely room. Excellent facilities - bar, dining room. A nice pleasant atmosphere throughout.
