Fantastic location and very good prices
Pros:

The location is the selling point just 1 minute away from Shin Okobu station and 1 stop away from Shinjuku Station it is the ideal base for Tokyo.
If you don’t want to take the JR Yamamoto line than it’s only a 10-15 min walk from kabukicho the nightlife district of Shinjuku.

You have so many restaurants right on the street where the hotel is located with many of them even open 24 hours. There is a fantastic Kaiten sushi belt restaurant just opposite the station which is also very cheap on the 3F.
There is also a Lawson 100 which is open 24 hours just few steps from the hotel.

The cleanness of the room is pretty good and they provide all necessities like shower gel, shampoo, tooth brush, slippers, hairdryer etc.
You do have to tell them before noon everyday if you want your room to be cleaned.
When you go out of the hotel you leave the keys with reception and you ask for them once you are back that way you definitely not gonna loose the keys.

The ladies at the receptions don’t really speak much English but they are very friendly and will help you just use a translation app.

On rainy days you can just ask the reception for an umbrella.

Dont let the negative reviews scare you although the noise issue could be more noticeable in the standard rooms but if the superior double room is available definitely go for it. This is also one of the cheapest hotel options in the area.

Cons:

Although the clearness was good I think the ventilation is not the best because the window frames have mould building up and the bathroom windows can not be opened.
The bed was really small I think is pretty much a large single bed at least for European and American standards.

In terms of noise it wasn’t too bad only one night we heard people from a rooftop bar nearby but the rest of time it was ok. It’s not silent you will hear the trains and people talking but muffled.

My recommendations would be to choose definitely the superior double room because that’s on the top floor 5F and is probably the quietest room.

連休中だったがひとまず予約が取れて助かった。

シティーホテル or ラブホテル　どっちやねん(笑)
Pros:

駅からすぐ近くなのでロケーションは最高です。とにかく街中なので何をするにも非常に便利。ちょっと施設は古いけど、自分にとってはまったく問題なし。ゆったりとくつろげました。

Cons:

一応シティホテルとうたってますが、ラブホテルのような立ち位置びみょ～～～な点(笑)
どっちにもとれる不思議な感覚となります。
