The property is 5mins up the hill from the drake bay boat drop off. The owner collected us from the boat and dropped us off when we left. Its an inexpensive choice with no frills. The beds were clean and the owners very friendly.
Drake bay often experiences power cuts so don’t expect stable air con. This was no fault of the property but meant the room was very hot.
The room we stayed in was low in the building so very little natural light and it was impossible to dry any wet towels etc as no sunshine entered the room. We opened the room to a large cockroach which wasn’t a great start. We booked 4 nights but only stayed for 2.
Very accommodating host. The rooms are clean and nice, the breakfast is perfect. She really helps out when you have to leave early for a tour, giving breakfast earlier than usual. She also had no problem storing our bags when we went on the Corcovado tour.

The friendliness of the owner when we arrived made us feel at home in an instant. The room was clean and very spacious with a large bed. this made it extra comfortable being a tall person. The breakfast was simple but well made and had several options.

Great service. Nice greeting and even provided us breakfast at 5:20 am earlier than the scheduled time of 6 am so we could catch the boat to Corcovado Park at 5:45 am. Stored our luggage while we spent 2 nights at Corcovado Park. Great shower. Nice they had shared fridge space for rooms without a fridge.

A simple accomodation, but very nice location, has good AC and hot water. It's also super clean and the hosts were great!
The bed was a bit hard.
The service was great. Easy check-in. Rooms clean and best shower we have had in Costa Rica, hot and lots of pressure. Stored out when we spent 2 nights at Corcovado Park. Nice breakfast and easy, nearby parking on the street.
Street curb appeal is not good, but pleasant surprise when you got greeted.

La struttura è a conduzione familiare propio accanto alla casa dei proprietari. Sono venuti a prenderci al porto e si sono offerti anche al check out. La struttura è semplice e modesta ma pulita e ordinata. Abbiamo alloggiato tre notti e ci è sempre stata sistemata la camera e cambiato tappetino doccia e salviette. C’è aria condizionata e phon, un terrazzino sulla foresta dove si vedono molti animali. Colazione su ordinazione con tre diverse opzioni con orari variabili in base ai tour che hai prenotato.
Wifi ben funzionate
Sono stati molto gentili anche ad aiutarci con il ricaricare la sim che non era fattibile con le nostre carte di credito.

The room was comfortable, convenient, and secure. The staff was delightful - we were served an early morning breakfast before our Corcovado tour, and were able to park our car and store our luggage during our overnight tour with no issues. Pura vida.
Pauling was limited but adequate.
Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig gelegen am Ortsrand mit wunderbarem Blick ins Grüne. Alles war super sauber und gepflegt, das Frühstück lecker und die Gasteber sehr herzlich und freundlich.
Estuvimos una noche en Bahía Drake alojados antes de iniciar una excursión de dos días por Corcovado. Está muy cerca del desembarque (5 minutos subiendo una cuesta que se puede hacer andando perfectamente). La mujer que nos atendió nos dio todas las facilidades que necesitábamos, nos hizo el desayuno típico antes de la hora para que llegásemos a la excursión, se ofreció para quedarse el equipaje durante la excursión...
La habitación tenía mosquitera, ya que al estar en un entorno natural hay bastantes mosquitos. La habitación también contaba con aire acondicionado.
De eigenares Mayela en haar familie waren super lief en behulpzaam. Top locatie, fijne kamer en een balkon met altijd wat te zien. Dikke aanrader!
