Otele girişimizden itibaren son derece profesyonellikten uzak bir resepsiyon hizmetiyle karşılaştık. Rezervasyon sırasında iki ayrı yatak (twin bed) talep etmemize ve bu talebimizi daha sonra e-postayla da teyit etmemize rağmen, istediğimiz oda düzeni sağlanmadı. Sonunda koltuğun üzerine yatak yerleştirilerek oluşturulan garip bir düzende konaklamak zorunda kaldık. Üstelik yatağı personelle birlikte hazırladık.

Ne yazık ki otel, oldukça amatör bir ekibe bırakılmış izlenimi veriyor. Odada sürekli yan odaların banyolarından gelen su seslerini duyduk. Banyodaki bazı armatürler yerinden çıkmıştı; ana yatak da rahatsızdı.

Bize bir jest olarak verildiği söylenen “güzel manzaralı” oda ise yalnızca çatıları görüyordu. Balkonda restoranlardan gelen yoğun yağ kokusu nedeniyle oturmak mümkün değildi.

Batum gibi çok sayıda otel seçeneğinin bulunduğu bir şehirde bu oteli tercih ettiğimiz için çok pişman olduk. Yaşadığımız deneyim, otel hakkındaki olumlu yorumlarla kesinlikle örtüşmüyor.

Pros:

Hotel Monarch charmed us with its excellent location, breathtaking views, and warm hospitality. Everything you need – the beach, the city, and restaurants – is just a pleasant walk away. The evening views from the rooftop terrace are simply magical!
The breakfast was wonderful, the coffee perfect, and special thanks to the amazing massage therapist. We also truly appreciated the convenient option to store our luggage and freshen up before our evening flight.
We left with beautiful memories and will happily recommend Hotel Monarch to our friends and, of course, to fellow Estonians!
