Character, property, great staff and lovely garden
Pros:

Lovely older property with lots of character. Our room had a small patio in the garden and it was really nice to sit out there with a book after sight seeing in Quito. Staff were really helpful and communication was excellent prior to our arrival. They arranged a taxi to meet us at the airport, which was really helpful and same price as getting one at the airport. Several restaurants close by that we could walk to for dinner and it felt safe to walk to them. Good breakfast. Had filtered water available in the common areas.

Cons:

Nothing really. Location was good overall. Have to get an uber or taxi to get into the center of town, which was easy to do but just be aware that it is about 15 minutes drive to get to the main sites.

Great and would stay there again
Pros:

Beautiful and clean room, good location in safe neighbourhood and with lots of restaurants. Staff were helpful in sorting out requests for laundry, taxis etc.

Cons:

Minor issue. One of the rooms we stayed in the wifi didn’t work well. ( I think it was too far from the router) but it worked fine in the lounge area and in another room we stayed in.

A lovely charming and safe place to stay in Quito
Pros:

A grand house with a lovely feel, beautifully furnished rooms and helpful staff. La Floresta is a lovely safe area to walk around with an abundance of cafes and restaurants in the area. It is a short Uber ride to the historical centre. We would definitely stay here again.
