I didn’t have a chance to enjoy the property itself as it was closed.

The property had been closed down due to bankruptcy, we arrived after a 5 hour drive to find we had nowhere to actually stay.

The hotel has been shut and not advised prior to arriving so had to book alternative accommodation on arrival.
The place is shutting down completely from July 1
No one inform me until I reach the hotel in the evening

This hotel was ordered to close from 1st July 2025, they sent info to booking.com and said no further bookings can be made, but they DID NOT state that prebooked rooms could not be accommodated!!

So glad I saw this before my trip on 25th July as my booking was still showing as confirmed. Booking.com have cancelled the booking for me now, but I had to contact them!
Breakfast was extra for 3rd party booking, but was tasty and very reasonably priced.
We had walked a long way and didn't know we were supposed to check in before 8 pm.

Turned up to the hotel after having booked almost two months ago to find that the hotel has been closed down. There’s been absolutely NO communication of this. Absolutely disgusting with my elderly grandparents and now we’re stuck without a hotel for the night in 30°C heat.

We arrived to find the building had been seized by the landlord and the hotel shut down. The night before my daughters graduation and we had nowhere to stay. Well done booking.com. Absolutely devastating.
