It was a very pleasant experience, it complemented perfectly our stay in the beautiful region of Normandy.

Un hotel de otra época con mucho encanto.
Pros:

Edificio con mucho encanto. Ubicación muy céntrica. Dispone de un amplio garaje y un jardín muy agradable.
El personal fue extraordinariamente amable.

Cons:

No apto para personas con movilidad reducida, porque no hay ascensor.
Se echaba en falta climatización, porque este mes de julio es excepcionalmente caluroso. La habitación y el mobiliario han quedado un poquito anticuados. El cuarto de baño está muy bien, moderno y cómodo, con un único defecto, la moda actual de suprimir el bidé.

We once more enjoyed our stay apart from the incident mentioned above
Pros:

Lovely bedroom - clean and welcoming. WE have stayed in this hotel on three other occasions and like the ambience of the old rooms. Also convenience to town is excellent.

Cons:

Although all staff were warm and welcoming there was one male who appeared inebriated . All guests, enjoying a quiet evening drink in the garden, were disturbed by his shouting and attempts to bring an obviously reluctant pet dog into the house. This had an adverse effect on the relaxation which we were all due. He is NOT an asset to the hotel.

Excellent historical hotel.
Pros:

The property is steeped in history being almost 300 years old and having survived not only the French Revolution but also the Nazis. Yet its facilities are up to the minute as long as you don’t need air conditioning or elevators. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much to ask.
