Arrived to find the two front of house staff being run ragged by other persistent guests. This made the check in lengthy
Pros:

Central location, property looked very French. Lovely modern bathroom with good shower & plenty of hot water. Value for money. Lovely gardens to back of the main hotel.

Cons:

No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Bedrooms & communal areas rather dated. Overpriced breakfast & not particularly tasty.

Pros:

Location: great, in the middle of town where cafes and restaurants are
Reception: nice and effective
Parking: convenient as it is in the property.

Cons:

Room: The booked room was on the 2nd floor and I could not manage to transport my suitcase up the narrow staircase. Therefore, I had to take the room on the ground floor which seemed to be a little smaller.
otherwise, it is all good for my stay !

Pros:

Vakkert sted, og rolige omgivelser. Selv om det var mange gjester var det som om vi var alene på hotellet. Veldig hyggelig personale, god og variert frokostbuffet.

Normandy “base” hotel- Yes!
Pros:

Want a well located charmer, this is the one. Luxurious, no, but everything you could want as a “base” property for a visit to St Mon Saint Michel & the D-Day beaches. Bayeux is a delight & this property is so well located. A historic property, renovated chateau- that means updated but not luxurious, ease into the charm & you won’t be disappointed. Smallish rooms, but clean, updated bathrooms. Breakfast room, lovely & breakfast offerings, well above average. Relax after a day of tours with a glass of wine (or 2), served with a smile. All of Bayeux at your doorstep. A staff that will make you smile, kind and accommodating.

Great location
Pros:

This is a lovely building with historic connections. The downstairs breakfast areas and garden are lovely, just what you would expect from such a grand house. Staff were very friendly and the location is spot on, with one of the best markets I have ever been to right outside on Saturday morning. On site parking was free. The bathroom was lovely.

Cons:

On our trip we had 8 overnight stays. This was the most expensive and did not include breakfast. (which would be 16 euros) We think it's likely that Bayeux, with its many attractions, is an expensive place to stay. Our room was the smallest on our trip. No tea and coffee facilities in the room (they do state this when you book). The tv wasn't working for which they apologised. There are stairs into the hotel and then more stairs to the rooms. No lift. You should note this if stairs are an issue for you. Help with bags was offered.

Pros:

Le camere sono pulite e la struttura è un palazzo del settecento veramente molto bello con un giardino interno stupendo. Forse non all’altezza la colazione.

We will be back and highly reccommend.
Pros:

We were only in town for a night and found this hotel easy to find and parking was very convenient. They allowed us to check in early which was wonderful after flying and driving for 4 hours. Eva and Lisa's dinner recommendation was fantastic - Le Pommier. When the weather turned bad and we were in search of raincoats, Lisa was even so kind as to offer us hers so that we could run to dinner and not have to shop. LOVED THIS PLACE!

Cons:

I have no suggestions as we loved everything.
