Decent place in a reasonably central/walkable destination at a fair price
Pros:

Property had an onsen.
Pretty quiet - not many others seemed to be staying there
Most facilities were decent, although there need to be clearer food options/opportunities.
Seems like a throwback to the old day properties, but the property has been left to degrade a bit.

Cons:

When we arrived (was raining hard/constantly) we weren't told that we needed to make a booking for dinner - so when we tried to get something to eat later we were turned away.
Even though it was raining we walked into town but nothing else was open, so we basically went hungry so that was a disappointing start.
