The staff were friendly and helpful, although their English was a bit limited. We were able to communicate using Google Translate when needed. The room was exactly as described. We were also able to ship our snowboard gear to the hotel ahead of time and it arrived safely. There was shared ski and snowboard storage, which was very convenient. The restaurant connected to the hotel was delicious, and the waiter kindly accommodated us even though we didn’t have a reservation. I would definitely stay here again.
Honestly nothing major. Communication could sometimes take a little extra time due to the language barrier, but the staff were very helpful and did their best to assist us.
Aside from its central location, there is absolutely nothing positive about this hotel.
The cleanliness of the room was extremely poor. There were cigarette butts left in our bin from previous guests, which was unacceptable. The towels were very thin and of poor quality, and the bedding and bed sheets were also very low quality and uncomfortable. There were visible stains on the carpet, and room cleaning service was provided only once during our entire 7‑night stay.
The drying room was kept unheated, so gloves and boots did not dry at all. After two nights of frustration, we were advised to dry our boots inside our room instead, which defeats the purpose of having a drying room.
I have attached a photo of the building, and from this alone it is clear that the hotel places little importance on maintenance and overall upkeep of both the property and its appearance.
I genuinely regret staying at this hotel. For the price charged, there are far better options available. As this was my first time in Hakuba, I learned that many hotels offer shuttle services to the mountains, meaning there is no need to stay right in the centre.
Mucho olor a comida. Caro para lo que ofrece

The location was fantastic.
No private showers.
Tatami style rooms large and well maintained, great location minutes from Hakuba bus terminal and 6-7 minutes walk to Nakiyama lift.
Shower facilities are Japanese onsen style, shared with other guests. This might put some people off but we actually enjoyed the shower and onsen routine
The Onson was empty most days.
It's location is central to most places in town.
The Restaurant downstairs had great food.
Loud tourists outside at night coming home late.

Good location. They provided good mattresses on the floor instead of futons.
The heater is like a window air conditioner, noisy and turns on and off all night. The floors are noisy when people run in the hallway. Poor wifi. No chair in room. No soft lighting. TV is tiny and hard to see from the opposite corner of the room.
The onsen was amazing. Great temperature and never busy.
Staff were exceptionally helpful and nothing was an issue.
The room was relatively large by Japanese standards and it was only about a 3 min walk to the bus terminal.
Exceptionally close to restaurants and bars.
Only about a 6 min walk to the base of Happo One lifts.
Only a couple of minor issues. The pillows and sheets. Japanese pillows are usually bean filled. No real issue as we got some extras to find the right level. The sheets were very basic and kept coming away from the base. The hotel only changes sheets and services the room every 4 days or so.
