Best hotel near the temple
Pros:

Great location--minutes from the Krishna temple. Comfy bed, prompt and efficient service.

Cons:

Do your own research for eating places though--So the first day we ate at Gokul Krishna nearby which was horrible. The second day we discovered Woodlands near the temple--the South Indian Thali there was truly amazing.

Pros:

Great location. 8 min walk to Sri Krishna Matha and temples. 10 min walk to Woodlands restaurant. Reasonably clean room. Parking for 10-15 cars available. Room was quiet and sound proofed even though facing the city bus stand. Friendly staff

Cons:

Linen was old and torn. Had to request and get it changed. For a hotel that seemed quite new, this was not expected. Standard room was quite small. Rates were pretty high considering what the place offers, maybe due to tourist season
