Station Inn

Very out dated room. Also i payed for Bed and Breakfast but they didn't start breakfast until 08:00. This is no good for people who stay here for work

Friendly staff

Shower was a bit small and no cumfy chair in the room but this was due to the size of the room/shower room.

Bed was incredibly hard. Had to put extra quilts under me because you could feel the ridges . Front desk staff were very accommodating to me. I originally checked in and got a room facing the inner junction between the buildings behind it. Apparently, there’s some kind of rookery there- abandoned building full of pigeons and the noise of their cooling was nonstop and very loud. I asked them if they could move me to a room facing the street and they were very accommodating. In fact, they upgraded me to a double room, which is not expected but very nice the most negative thing I can say about this hotel is that they are having a birthday party for someone directly below my room number 209. It was Saturday night party scene reasonable, however at midnight when the party was still going full volume, I started to get a little annoyed about 1 o’clock in the morning, I went down to the front dash to the gentleman there who was exceptionally dismissive I asked him when I might expect the party to wrap up and he said well. This hotel is a pub. What did you expect? I said I booked the room not expecting to be above a pub I don’t recall that being in the Booking.com description in fact, I went back and looked at the reviews and nobody said anything about parties in a pub. I was unable to get to sleep until approximately 2 o’clock in the morning because of the noise I will put this in my formal review for people to be aware of the fact that this hotel considers itself an event space “” the gentleman’s words and a pub ask for a room, not facing the ventilation vents and not over the party room.

Stay here a few times unfortunately room 13 shower was very poor

Over hot in room 4. Very noisy with passing traffic through night as had to have window open. Carparking is in a supermarket car park and although a lot of spaces, its free for 24hrs so is always full. Had to sit and wait 45mins for someone to leave so we could park and even then, it was still, with suitcases, a good walk in the pouring rain from car park to hotel. Not mentioned in description of hotel. Good food and great staff though

Doucheruimte is te klein, kraan wasbak lekt en deursloten zijn ook aan vervanging toe. Desondanks tevreden hoor.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for us. We were able to stay in the same room.

We were in Room 13 so can only comment on what we found in that room. The wardrobe was leaning into the room, it was free standing and not secured. Pendant light fitting was coming away from the ceiling. Bathroom light did not always come on.

Leaking tap in bathroom and shower drain took a long time to clear.

Is allemaal wel wat verouderd, vooral de douche met bijna geen waterdruk was wat jammer na een dag fietsen.

Het douchewater liep zo goed als niet weg, er was alleen maar een handzeepje aanwezig om je mee te wassen. En er was geen wegzet ruimte in de douche.
