Booked and paid for two nights b&b but only stayed one as so depressing, sorry .

Decorating whole place needs renovation or at least decorating badly, looks as no money' has been spent on the upkeep for many years.

A treasure of a hotel, I will be returning.
Pros:

This is a well run , friendly, welcoming, and lovely place to stay. The staff go beyond making sure you are comfortable. The location to Hexham Town is great, a short walk. Full cooked breakfast available if desired cooked to order along with healthier options of fruit and cereal. There is an extensive dinner menu which is very reasonably priced. My room was spotlessly clean and quiet and the bed comfy. I can honestly say "I felt at home there", mainly due to the staff. I highly recommend you consider The Station Inn when looking at accommodation options.

Overall value for money, but disappointing breakfast
Pros:

Location was great, beds were comfy & staff were lovely & very helpful

Cons:

Breakfast was not enjoyable, cooked food was over cooked, strawberries looked withered.
There was a strong smell of air fresheners , couldn’t be seen but the smell was strong. Looked tired.

Room was comfortable and clean
Breakfast was spot on
Paid for a sunday lunch was good value for money and very nice

Cons:

No hand towel in room
Could do with a light switch to toilet on outside of bathroom but these are just trivial things
