The food - Sunday lunch and breakfasts - was excellent.
We were overcharged for drinks in the bar. We queried this and received an immediate refund. We would advise checking bills.
The views are fantastic we had a corner room both views over Ilkley and the moors. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the food decent, breakfast was limited but well cooked.
Some creaking floors in adjacent rooms but expected from an old building
Great location and very goood value. I eat meat but they had chef cooked breakfast with veggie and vegan options which was good for a change. Beautiful views and lovely dramatic setting.

The full Yorkshire breakfast was superb. One of.the best , and I stay in 70 + hotel nights each year, and I eated lots of breakfasts , this one was cooked.cooked.to.cooked.cooked.to.perfection.
The cost of.of.the beer was a.little too expensive .
Pete and his crew are excellent and friendly, we will stay again when the weather improves and hopefully have a room with a view.

It was extremely difficult to contact the property direct by telephone. When I finally got through regarding property left behind, I received no follow up.
The food was poor - I had better school dinners.
