Gut gepflegte Naturoase mitten in der Steppe mit wunderschönem eigenem Dschungel, freundlichem Personal, hervorragendem Frühstück und (nahezu) perfekter Ausstattung. Dazu eine Eco-Lodge die weit über Standards operiert, fast alles was an Verpflegung angeboten wird ist selbst erzeugt, Wasser aus eigenen Quellen, der Strom solar und Biomüll wird zu (Fliegenmaden-)Futter verarbeitet. Wir hatten das Glück eine lange Führung mit der Besitzerin durch die Farm zu genießen, das Gesamtkonzept ist wahrlich imposant!
Es wäre ob der beeindruckenden Tage, die wir dort genossen haben, unangebracht die Kleinigkeiten aufzuzählen.

Prima om te overnachten op weg naar Samburu (Isiolo zelf schijnt een wat minder prettige stad te zijn om te overnachten).
Een groene oase en ruim opgezet. Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst bij de receptie.
De kamer was schoon.
Lange wachttijden bij het restaurant en roomservice (+/- 1 uur), ondanks ogenschijnlijk weinig klanten.
Ontbijtbuffet zag er niet altijd even hygienisch uit, maar was voor ons goed genoeg.
Er was een renovatie gaande waardoor er veel geluidsoverlast was in de kamer.
Het lukte ons niet om de airco stil te krijgen, waardoor hij in de nacht steeds bleef piepen.
A good hotel for a stop over. The restaurant has nice meals.
Breakfast was a lot of meat. Staff a bit inexperienced. Parts of the hotel are still being built so it is rather noisy and dusty. The hotel seems to be designed by someone without previous hoteldesign experience. For example, there is a gigantic useless closet in the room, which has as a consequence that one person is propped against the window.
Very nice place ! Mary was a good chef and Bonface a very professional waiter !

The Zip line and the walk around it were exceptional. Beautiful trees.
Nothing. Except we were delayed in checkout by a power outage. They should have back up for essential services.

The rooms and the cottages were quite clean. Staff were also friendly.
I would've preferred buffet, but were told this wasn't available for the weekend we were visiting. So, I ordered kienyeji chicken, but they served broiler and they insisted it was kienyeji. To make it worse, the chicken wasn't fresh - I suspect it overstayed in the refrigerator which made it taste horrible.
The friendliness of the staff was exceptional! The location is surrounded by greenery very diverse menu aswell.
