Una vista sul mare indimenticabile!
Pros:

Posizione perfetta nel pieno centro di Cat Ba! La camera era pulitissima e accogliente, ma la vera gemma è il balcone: guardare le barche dei pescatori al tramonto è un'esperienza magica. Il personale ci ha accolti con grande calore e ci ha dato ottimi consigli sui ristoranti locali. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Pros:

Travelled with young kids and elderly parents. Being right in the center meant we could walk to seafood restaurants within 3 minutes without anyone getting exhausted. The front desk team was exceptionally patient with our kids and helped us hail taxis with zero hassle.

A lovely and relaxing resort hotel on Cat Ba Island.
Pros:

Kevin, the hotel manager was so welcoming and helpful and he even upgraded our room as an unexpected bonus!
The entire staff was super friendly and the entire facility was delightful.

Cons:

The breakfast was complementary but below par.

Pros:

This place is a true gem! The views are incredible and the homestay is great. It is very clean, the rooms are comfy and the pool was a welcome refreshment after hiking in the surrounding rice fields or bamboo forest. But the true stars of the stay were the hosts. They are welcoming and made us feel at home. Helped us with everything and made this stay special. The breakfast and dinner were great, especially the coffee. The only thing that was not ideal is that we had to leave. If we are ever back in Sapa, we will definitely stay here again and can only recommend for everyone else to do so too!

Travelling from Hanoi to Cat Ba after a tedious bus-and-ferry ride, we arrived at Cat Ba Bay Vision Hotel late in the afternoon feeling thoroughly exhausted. The warm greeting from the front desk immediately put us at ease.
However, our first morning came with a hilarious little disaster - we managed to lock ourselves out of our room while leaving the key inside the slot! Flustered, we ran down to reception. Instead of making us feel embarrassed, the staff laughed good-naturedly with us and resolved the issue in under two minutes.
To top it off, they spent the next twenty minutes helping us organize an early-morning Lan Ha Bay kayaking tour at a discounted rate and even had takeaway coffee ready for us before sunrise. Sitting on our private balcony that night watching the fishing boat lights sparkle across the water made us realize this wasn't just a budget hotel - it was the highlight of our northern Vietnam journey.
