Pros:

The hotel is reasonably priced. The staff are helpful and attentive. The rooms are clean and airy. There's a fantastic view of the fireworks on weekends.

Sadly the view is not what it used to be so it is overpriced now.
Pros:

This is a 1 star hotel so I didn't expect too much but I booked it because it is supposed to have great views. The front desk staff were nice, the room was spacious and the bed comfortable. It's located on the main street so close to everything.

Cons:

For a one star hotel it is overpriced, except that it is supposed to have a wonderful view. The wonderful view is no more. There is now a massive development project where part of the bay used to be, so instead of a beautiful view you see a sea of houses (and construction cranes although those will go away), with the water and karsks far in the distance. This is not the hotel's fault but it should affect their pricing. The hotel is not dirty but it's also not super clean. There were a few bugs and it seemed whenever they cleaned it I found hair and wet dust bunnies laying around. Breakfast is very limited, so much so that I only ate there 2 out of the 4 nights I stayed. Little in the way of fruit or vegetables. But again, it's a one star hotel in the middle of the to

The hotel provides a lot of information and advice for guests during their stay. The view from the room was beautiful. I was lucky enough to watch the fireworks from my room, as they don't show fireworks every day.
