The hotel was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well cared for.
Jenny was a wonderful host very welcoming, helpful, and always available whenever needed.
Booking bay tours through the hotel was also very easy and convenient.

Jednoduchý hotel, který splní všechno, co je potřeba. Manažerka hotelu zařídí doslova cokoliv, na co si člověk vzpomene.

Es war gut ausgestattet und Jenny sowie Personal waren sehr nett. Die Lage war perfekt - in weniger als 15 Minuten zu Fuß im Zentrum.

Personalen var trevlig. Hotellet ligger nära till det mesta.

Everything was good during my stay, and I would definitely recommend this place. The service was smooth, and the overall experience met my expectations.

One tip: it’s better to book the cruise directly with the hotel rather than arranging it in advance from another city like Hanoi. They offer good prices and quality cruise options, which makes the whole process easier and more convenient.

Отель находится на берегу озера в центре города. Его плюс в том, что проезжая часть улицы с магазинами, ресторанами и прочим находится на другом берегу озера. Поэтому было тихо и спокойно. Гостиница небольшая по размерам, всё есть. Номер хороший, удобный,чистый. Если окна номера выходят на озеро,то вечером очень красивый вид. Недорого. Завтрак небольшой, но хороший. В соседнем здании находится ресторан, скромный и с очень отзывчивым персоналом. Помогли разобраться с местными морепродуктами. Спасибо им за это!
Особое спасибо админисиратору отеля Jenny. Профессионал своего дела и просто замечательная девушка. Экскурсии, билеты, переезды - всё делает быстро и хорошо. Молодец!

Bao Phuc is located on the quieter side of the fishing village lake in Cat Ba town. This area is nice to walk around and has little traffic making the hotel a great place to relax and catch-up on sleep. Nonetheless, the hotel is only a short distance from the centre of town, restaurants and ice cream parlours.

Staff are friendly, helpful and available to support with any request. I left my wallet on our arriving bus and one of the team drove me to the depot to collect it - phew! Jenny was on hand from when booking until check-out to make sure we got the most from our stay, including booking a Ha Long Bay boat tour and our onward bus.

The hotel itself is clean, and the A/C was effective. There is a lovely view from the room out over the lake, town and hillside. We were also able to hire a bike from the hotel to explore other parts of Cat Ba

This hotel is excellent for its class (2 star hotel), with particular bonus points being it felt very clean, includes breakfast (I had plain omelette, watermelon and white coffee) and had an excellent shower. Everything felt relatively new and the window had a mosquito net. Other bonuses are soft towels, very comfortable bed, kettle and 2 small bottles of water in the room included. Also a mini fridge. The air con was very good! There were various sockets, a kettle, body soap and shampoo. I felt very comfortable and clean after a long boat tour day!

The staff are very willing to help, whether it was sorting an electric 'golf cart' to the beach trail walk (fantastic) or a taxi to go to 102 Cat Ba House (surreal/fun). Therefore, thanks to their efficiency, I made the most of my one morning on Cat Ba island. While only 1 person spoke English well, they were all very willing to help and very efficient in resolving any questions or issues.

I got this room on the getaway offer, making it particularly excellent value! While I was gifted a deluxe room at a 4* in Hanoi, I actually valued this hotel more. It felt local, efficient, clean, and no-nonsense. I recommend it highly.
